Summary: The most violent children's movie ever made!
Review: This is the worst Peter Pan movie ever made. It wasn't about Peter and surely wasn't about the Hook, but all about a HOT-SHOT lawyer selfishly trying to save his own children and his own children only. So what the Never Never Land kids are risking their lives fighting against the Hook to defend Never Never Land, so what the evil Hook is ruling Never Never Land, so what all the Never Never Land kids are being tortured by the Hook, as long as Robin William recues his OWN children, he wants to leave the place. (Hey! how about showing some care for those Never Land kids.) This movie showed no emotion in Peter Pan for the Never Never Land Kids whatsoever. Robin William basically used them and then dumped them once he's rescued his own children.

Worst of all, the movie cruely depicts innocent good-spirited children in ruthless killing, and shows children with knives penetrating through their chests by an adult. (The only thing missing is blood gusting out of their bodies.) I have never seen a children's movie this violent in my life.

Summary: This is one the best Steven's as well as Robin's movies.
Review: One of my all time favorites. I wanted to buy this movies's V.H.S., but I could not found it anywhere. Simply extraordinary!

Summary: Completely Enchanting!!!
Review: I do not have an "all knowing" Peter Pan background, but I do understand fantasy and magic. Hook is a new and exciting portrayal of a classic tale. Complemented by special effects that enhance the magic and bring the story to life. If you're an adult who can relate to your inner child, you will love this movie. Children will be enchanted with the bright colors and the adventurous story. As for Robin Williams, he too is enchanting as always.

Summary: An absolute SMASHER !! We love the film here in ENGLAND !!!!
Review: A film of ADVENTURE and child hood FANTASY !! The story is that when Peter Pan found out that his real parents had forgotton about him, he flew in other windows and fell in love with a girl. They married, had 2 kids, but forgot he was Peter Pan, NOW Hook has kidnapped his kids, HIS MISSION : to save his kids- with a top exciting adventure help by The Lost Boys and Tinkerbell. THERE IS NO OTHER FILM QUITE AS EXELLENT AS THIS ONE- BELIEVE ME !!!!!!!

Summary: Half heaven, half hell, all "Hook"
Review: Oh boy, is this one of my all-time heartbreakers. I'm a "Peter Pan" freak from Day 1, and have seen many, many versions of it on film, video, and stage; this is the weakest. Maybe it was the casting (an alternate version had Kevin Kline inked as Peter, Michelle Pfeiffer as Tink, and Robert De Niro as Hook). Maybe it's the recycled score. Maybe it's the liberties taken with the book. Maybe it's those damn Lost Boys in all their ear-splitting juvenile glory. But just not enough remains of the original "Peter Pan"'s haunting, wistful magic that Speilberg did in fact nail just perfectly--in "E.T." This overly-lit, overly-designed, wheezing, raucous, anachronistically unfunny retelling just can't quite get anything right, save some decent camerawork and Dustin Hoffman's droll (but not scary) Hook. (Best line, when Peter and Hook duel: "I remember you being a lot bigger." "To a ten-year-old, I'm huge.") The world still awaits the definitive "Peter Pan"; Disney's will do till then.

Summary: Absolutely FANTASTIC & a must see!!!
Review: This movies is a wonderful fantasy and that's how it should be viewed! I've grown up loving Peter Pan and got to experience it all over again with my children who are now grown and still enjoy it! I find the less I try to pick a film apart, especially a fantasy film, the more I enjoy it. You must rent this...sit back, relax, and be a kid again!

Summary: I loved this film, and my kids love it even more.
Review: I have trouble understanding the adults who try to place this film in a category of anything other than fantasy. I think the acting was superb and the sets were magical.

Allow the child in you to view this film, and suspend your critical eye for perfection. The film is a fun and playful continuation of the original Peter Pan. Try it, you will like it.

Summary: Don't waste your money very boring only for kids ages 2-6
Review: Big cast lousy performances. How did this movie get academy award nominations. Not one of Spielbergs best films. Go rent Jurassic Park,Or E.T.
