Summary: Homeward Bound
Review: Today, after showing this movie to a 3rd grade class , for whom I was substitute teaching, I was pleasingly surprised to find that it was not only a clean movie, but a wholesome, earthy , empathetic example of life, cast with animal pets! The language was unusually clear and understandable, unlike so MANY movies today.(I actually understood every word or qurp rendered!..No need to constantly REWIND to "catch a joke!!") The time the trainers spent with the animals must have been an eternity. There is a Pit Bull, who must be HALF HUMAN,!! doing feats, and saying things, which only come natural to very talented humans. I found that the majority of my students, owned the film at home, or had seen the movie before, but were silent, except for new laughter for this additional showing. They begged to see it again! I can watch it over and over again. I forgot that I was a work!! I highly reccommend this film for purchase, to ADORN your home video library! I, myself, Cannot WAIT to own it!!!

Summary: A great movie for children and adults!
Review: What an excellent movie! My two year old son loves "doggie movies" and has truly enjoyed watching this movie. I have found myself sitting watching the movie with him over and over again. It has great humor, a fun plot, and lovable characters. A definite must!

Summary: It Doesn't Get Any Better than this!!!
Review: What more can be said about this movie. It has charm, wit, sadness, happiness, tears, and the voices of Don Ameche, Sally Field, and Michael J. Fox. They are all quite an ensemble cast, and the human element is, of course, just as good. The humor is wonderful and it is not offensive in any degree. Plus there are lessons to be learned about friendship, loyalty, independence and interdependence on one another. A fine family film and highly recommended!!!

Summary: I'm 17 & not afraid to admit I like this!
Review: yep, you heard me, 17. This is ANYTHING BUT just a movie for kids- only reason it's considered a kid's movie is cause it's from Disney & there's cats & dogs in it. This movie has some hillarious lines- my favorite being Chance saying "Go steal some parrige(or however its spelled) to the bears. And of course there's "Birdzilla Returns!"- lol. Yet there are some sad parts, like when Shadow falls into the ditch & says to Chance "You've learned everything you need to know, now you just need to know how to say goodbye". I will be very honest, that part and the ending left a lump in my throat. Yep, you heard me clearly- I AM A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD BOY and this movie made me cry! I usually am not that emotional over movies. Anywayz, this movie has a GREAT message for teens believe it or not- It can show you to not make big deals over the little things & focus more on what's really important.

As for the sequal, Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Franciso, well it's good, but not nearly as good as this one. This is a must for anyone who needs a good laugh or a good message about life.
