Summary: The cutest movie!
Review: Kiki's Delivery Service is the cutest movie I've seen yet! I've seen this and Princess Mononoke, and from what I can tell Miyazaki is one of the best animators ever! In this, Kiki, with the help of her over-cautious, complaining cat Jiji, must learn to live all on her own. With the help of the town bakers, she sets up a delivery service. Things go super for a while, then she loses her witch's powers, which include flying, the most essential factor of her ability to do her job! She can hardly make her deliveries on time, and is having a really hard time coping. She even breaks her trusty broom and can no longer understand Jiji. When her friend, Tombo, is in serious trouble (hanging from on out-of-control derigible!) she must re-find her powers to fly and save him.

Review: When I saw this movie on Disney, I was totally shocked.I never thought a movie could be produced so fresh & unique.The storyline is amazing, & the characters fit in perfect with the basic story. The idea of this story is about a girl who has a talent of flying.She uses this talent to create a delivery service, but when she loses her confidence in herself, she loses her talent in flying.Kiki found out that all you need is a little faith to accomplish a big dream.Kiki had proven that she accomplished that dream, & she had gained her confidence back.This story has plenty of romance, fun, & entertainment for the whole family.You'll never get bored, because it reminds you that the only thing you need to accomplish a dream is faith.It also reminds you that the only thing you need to steer you in the right path is your heart.This movie is a classic, & I recommend this for everyone.Who knows, it might give you a answer you've been looking for so long.You can buy it today!

Review: Poor Kiki,alone in the world on her first witches' apprentice job.Stuck in a town where no one has seen a witch for a while,she descovers that a little magic is just what the doctor ordered! Along with Jiji(Phil Hartman,who really did an exquisite job...speaking from a fan's piont of veiw),her talking black cat,she starts her very own delivery service.Things are going great until....Oops!Don't wanna spoil it for everyone! Just watch and you'll see,Kiki is worth every penny you spend!

Review: I have a confession to make. I'm 40 years old and my wife bought this for me for my birthday because I love animation, and because Roger Ebert spoke well of it in his reviews. My wife and Roger Ebert were not wrong. I sat spellbound for the whole film. There is so much to like about this film that it is hard to know where to begin praising it. The animation is exquisite, with attention to tiny details in every scene. The characters are believable and appealing. The American voice actors are exactly right for the parts they play, in particular the late Phil Hartman as JiJi the cat and Janeane Garofalo as the artist Ursula. Of course Kirsten Dunst voices Kiki exactly the right way. The storyline is as strong as the animation, and this video will reward multiple viewings on all levels. Note the details in the animation, as in the dust blowing off the street when Kiki takes off, or Kiki using her feet to bounce her off buildings when she tries her unsteady flying skills. Pay attention to Ursula, the independent, strong and yet kind female artist, who manages to be a great character and a terrific role model, as is Kiki herself, capturing the experience of being 13 without cloying sentimentalism or straining the imagination. Look at the town she settles in and note the details of this mix of all the cities in the world. Wiccans and pagans can also note that this video presents a very positive view of witchcraft and witches, unlike so many other movies that attempt to deal with magic. The storyline is involving and compelling, and oddly enough, quite realistic in the way the characters interact and express themselves. No matter whether you're 4, 14, 24, or 40, this is an unqualifiedly great movie and a masterful work of the animator's art. I would recommend this movie without hesitation to anyone. Any movie that has both witches and zeppelins in it can't go wrong with me, but I know that this movie will appeal to anyone with heart and imagination.

Review: One of the few films that our children watch (age 2.5) which keeps them engaged and actually makes them laugh out loud. The animation is superb -- remarkable, really, almost painterly. The story contains NO VIOLENCE, yet is dynamic enough to keep everyone interested. Maybe Disney should take note! It is sweet, thoughtful, funny, exciting, and beautifully executed. I highly recommend this.

Review: Ok just to let you know, this movie happens to be I think one of the greatest anime movies EVER made! I mean the first time i saw this i was babysitting my 2nd grade brother and he HATES everything unless it is pokemon. Yet when we started to watch it he was glued to the tv as was i and we sat and watched the whole time. Never arguing once or yelling at eachother or anything! My mom bought Kiki's delivery service the next day and so far i am having alot better time babysitting.:) This also grabs a TON of people ages 3-parent age to sit and watch waiting for people at my ballet studio. Miyazaki has to truly the most brilliant man to produce such a wonderful movie. Any of his movies are sure to delight, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, and of course Princess Mononoke! And for all you older kids out there, ages 13-up, you absolutly HAVE to see his masterpiece Princess Mononoke or Mononoke Hime!

Summary: Extremely well done.
Review: Normally, anything that "Disney" is attached to is a major turn off for an anime fan like me, but this movie is after all, an anime, so I gave it a shot... and I was not disappointed, Infact, I was impressed. The English Voice Actors did an excellent job with this movie, it was extremely well dubbed, there were a few minor changes to the script, but it didn't hurt the story at all. Disney was even nice enough to release a subtitled version of the movie as well, so you subbies and anime purists need not fear either version. The animation of this movie was extremely well done, although the plot did focus more on character development than on the building of a massive story, but the story in general was very nice. Kiki's Delivery Service is a good anime for all audiences, as it's one of the "cute" animes, but this is far superior to that Pokemon vermin that parents and us Otakus are hating with a vengence or it's two dopplegangers on Fox Kids. If your looking for a nice, relaxing anime thats suitable for the whole family, then this one is definetly worth checking out. If your going to get into anime, this is the movie I'd rather today's children be introduced to anime thought Kiki's than Pokemon.

Review: You'd have to be one big iceberg not to love this film. I own it and pop it in the video a few times a year. I never fail to laugh or cry. The voice of the late Phil Hartmann is perfect as her cat Gigi. Lovely, lovely film.

Review: What a movie! The quality of the animation is typical of Hayao Miyazaki; Outstanding! The story is captivating, drawing you in at once, as you follow Kiki on her journey to self discovery, and through the many adventures she experiences. This is a perfect movie to watch when you are feeling down, because the absolute sweetness, and happiness of this film can't help but bring a smile to your face over and over again. While not quite the epic adventure of Mononoke Hime, the simple charm of this movie makes it a fantastic anime to watch. Highly recommended!
