Review: I cannot wait for this movie to be released on DVD. I've owned this movie for as long as I've been alive, and my video tape is so degraded from being watched, and I have to upgrade. If you've never seen this movie, you need to, regardless of what age you are. I read the book about six years ago, and just fell in love with the story all over again. This is one of the best animated movies I have ever seen. The turning point in the movie comes in at the end when the Unicorn is changed into Lady Almalthea and falls in love. A romantic hit!!!!

Review: I love animated movies as it is, just ask my husband, lol. One of the best movies I've seen in a long was this one. In my opinion, this should have been released on DVD quite a while ago and I anxiously await when it will be available. If you love unicorns and animation, this is the movie to get.

Summary: An Excellent Tribute To Myth and Legend
Review: I didn't realise it was so old and have only seen twice but it is definitely a favourite.
The mythical creatures such as the harpie and the mythical fairytales such as unicorns visiting maiden virgins is all accurate in the film.
It's a great story of love, sorrow, fear and courage. I reccomend this to anyone who has a love for fantasy.

Review: Ever since I could remember, The Last Unicorn had lightened up my world into another. I first watched this movie around the age of 5. I still remember watching it in wonder and thinking how pretty the unicorn is. *Has always been thrilled about them* Now that i'm an adult, I still what the movie and highly recommend it to anyone who loves fastesies, drama, and romance.
Watch it! I know you'll love it!

Review: With a soundtrack done not by Queen, but the band called America, The Last Unicorn was a film that entrances me as much now as it did when I was a child. Beautiful little touches, such as the "Tree's Love" and "Robin Hood Illusion" make this such a heart-tearing film.

Summary: Profound fairy tale
Review: This was my favorite movie when I was a child, but as I got older I came to appreciate the deeper meanings of this fairy tale. It is a classic epic tale exemplifying 'The Hero's Journey.' I am moved particularly by the Unicorn's dilemma - the confusion of an immortal being in a mortal body. The voice acting is also some of the best I have ever heard, expressive and not forced or plastic. I also like the songs, but I know one or two could have used improvement.

Summary: Just like the book
Review: Can't wait til the DVD Comes out!!! This is my favorite book and although i already own it on VHS i will buy the DVD. It is a beautiful story and has a lot of mythological information. Based on the book by the same name, the screenplay was written by the author. The Last unicorn live action movie is scheduled to be completed in 2004. This is for the animated version, but i plan on owning both!!! Love it that much.
