Summary: Sure, it was good.
Review: It was good. I'm extremely sensitive to people dying, people being unhappy, confused, or just those lines (Good bye Brother-Moses), so I was on the verge of tears every 5 minutes. What I didn't like is this: The movie ends with Moses bringing down the 10 Commandments. If I'm not mistaken, the Hebrews were worshipping another god at that time. That's kinda stupid for a religion movie.

Summary: Very close to the story in Exodus, my family and I love it!
Review: This movie inspires my family to stay in tune with God and his wonders. My 10 year old daughter's favorite part of the Bible is the 7 plagues, so hence this is her favorite movie and Bible story. I would have like to see the plagues played out with little more detail. After all they really did happen!

Summary: WOW this movie is GOOD
Review: This movie was the best "cartoon movie" I've ever seen, it beats The Lion King. The movie was a masterpiece!

Summary: OK, but pales next to the Ten Commandments
Review: How do you follow Charlton Heston? Certainly not with Val Kilmer! I don't think it can be done with anyone. Even though that movie is years old, it's hard to beat. So much of the story was truncated in this version, that I was constantly disappointed.

I was surprised to hear complaints about the religious content, however. I'm not religious either, but what in the world do you expect from this particular story?

Summary: Fabulous animation - Incredible soundtrack - Eternal story!
Review: Prince Of Egypt was a delight to both the eyes and ears. Although occasonally jerky transitions between traditional and computer animation, all is forgiven when compared to the amazing Death Angel, and Red Sea scenes. The original miracles are all that could top this! The soundtrack is also breathtaking. The new songs are insprirng and make the film more exciting! This is a MUST SEE movie!!!

Summary: Very good movie...only a few parts sucked
Review: But I'm still giving it 5 stars for the parts I did like. Since I'm Wiccan (mostly studying Old Egyptian beliefs) and had my fair share of "my god is better than your Gods" by SOME Christians, I wasn't really sure if I would like this movie, but I did. The beginning was very good and I loved the music, I liked the relationship between Moses and Rameeses(sp?) through the movie. They really cared for each other. I loved the fact that they gave the Egyptians COLOR, which is what they are suppose to have. I just didn't like the English voices, although it didn't bother me much at all. It was very enjoyable. I didn't feel like God was being crammed down my throat. What I didn't like about the movie was how they made the Egyptians look like fools for believing in other Gods, like the Hebrew God was better or more powerful. I also didn't like the part about killing off Egyptian children because they didn't believe in The Hebrew God. The God voice was very cheesy. I loved the movie all the way up until Moses went to the cave and talked to God. I watched the movie lots of times but only once or twice all the way through, the other times I continued to stop it after he married the High Preist daughter. After that I guess it goes down hill for me with the exception of the song when all the Hebrews were set free and the song Moses and Rameeses(sp?) sung when God was distorying everything, again, it comes from the relationship between Moses and Rameeses. So I guess I liked that more than everything else. Also I don't know much about The fairy tale Moses story in the Bible, but if the movie was accurate it would probably be dull and no one would like it, That's the business Hollywood people! LOL :-)

Summary: A Great Story and Video
Review: I love The Prince of Egypt. The story is accurate to the Bible in many ways. It never contradicts the Bible really badly like some attempts (like the TV Noah's Ark). I could tell that they truly went to the Bible for a source of inspiration. I'm glad that they kept it as accurate as possible. The music is awesome and the soundtrack to this movie is amazing.
