Summary: A Beauty of a Masterpiece
Review: There are many Disney movies that are claimed to be masterpieces, and I'm sure they all have a worthy stature to be referred to by that position. However, Beauty and the Beast is the top billing amongst all of Disney's masterpieces.
This movie was incredible not only in the way that it captured a classic love story known throughout all ages and presented it in a way that appeals to the masses, but it also combined incredible animation techniques of simple pencil animation and state-of-the-art computer animation (which is shown in the infamous ballroom scene).
I feel that this film opened many doors in animation with the animation, the presentation of the story, and the music that moves and supplements the picture.
Besides, the fact that this was the first animated movie to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar just goes to show that this is truly a beauty of a masterpiece.

Summary: Classic Romance
Review: This movie, touches the soft places in my heart. It is a classic girl meets boy, a little rough around the edges(In this case, an actual beast); then, with a large dose of compassion, she softens his heart and changes him into a prince (literally). Trite I know, but it's okay to get caught up in a little fantasy, with a happy ending, every now and then. Should bring out the sentimental genes in all of us. The color is beautiful and the animated characters, draw you right in.

Summary: The Best Ever!!
Review: I went and saw this Special Edition of Beauty and the Beast when it was in the I-MAX Theaters. It was absolutely incredible! There's just something about being totally surrounded by the sights and sounds of this incredible movie that thrills my heart. Beauty and the Beast is an enduring classic that screams for recognition. I think it is high time that Disney produced another classic film like this one. I personally believe that the musical scores of their last few films are cheap and weak compared to the classics like Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast.

This special edition it a must for Beauty and the Beast fans. It includes brand new footage and a completely new song that was cut from the original movie. If you liked the original, you will love this new version. The DVD is loaded with extras about the movie and the Broadway version of this story (which I have also seen and loved).

BUY THIS MOVIE! It's an all-time classic!

Summary: Tale as old as time...
Review: Ddisney's musical version of the old fairy tale is a thing of beauty. In the story, we meet Belle, the daughter of the eccentric town inventor, who is something of a curiosity because she likes to read books! She is pursued by Gaston, the local bully, but will nothing to do with him. Belle must become a hostange in an enchanted castle, owned by a horrible Beast, who really has a heart of gold. Gradually, with the help of his singing and dancing tea pot, clock, and candlestick, Belle sees the Beast's gentle side.

The outstanding soundtrack is the best part of this wonderful film. The songs make you want to sing-along. Angela Landsbury as Mrs. Potts, the tea pot, brings warmth and class to the film. This is the stuff dreams are made of.

Summary: On second thought...
Review: Besides the viewer from hell, don't listen to the other viewers from the following places: USA, Walla Walla, Chicago, La Habra, San Francisco, and Holton, Kansas (all in the USA). These are one-to-two star ratings, and these are viewers that do not like this film (7 total). For those of you who like the film, give it a 3-to-5 star rating (good to excellent). Like in part one of my review, this film is excellent!

Summary: One of the Best Disney Movies Ever
Review: This movie has the feel of a Broadway show. I guess that's why it became one! The music really helps move the story along. Unfortunately, for so many animated movies today, the music is more of an afterthought rather than a crucial element of the story. The characters are delightful. And, Belle is an excellent role model for young girls of a strong, intelligent, and independent woman. A must for any Disney movie library!

Summary: Disney at it's best!
Review: Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind. But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away, but she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within. And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart, and as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast, and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there. Ashamed of his monstrous form, the beast concealed himself inside his castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year. If he could learn to love another, and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair, and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a beast..........

Disney's Beauty and The Beast is one of the best classics that Disney released in the 90's. It is the only animated movie in history to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture. It tells the story of Belle, the most beautiful girl in town, dreaming of something more. Belle loves her father, more than anything else in the world. When he gets in trouble, Belle goes to save him and trades her freedom to the Beast in exchange for her father's release, and in here starts the romantic relationship between Belle and The Beast. But Gaston, who has been thinking of marrying Belle has other plans for her...

It's wonderful to hear that Disney is releasing Beauty and the Beast as their second movie from their platinum edition series. The Dvd features countless hours of Bonus features, as that of the previously released " Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs " , including 3 Enchanted Versions Of Film, Special Edition, Original Theatrical Edition, Work In Progress Edition, Audio Commentary, Sing-Along Track, Character Galleries, The Broadway Musical, Trailers & TV Spots and much much more!!! The movie itself contains a never-before-seen musical sequence, which is worth buying for!

All in all, this dvd will be a wonderful addition to anyone's collection and if you dont have it, you're missing something.

Summary: Fun and Exciting Movie for Both Young and Old
Review: One of the best animated film from Disney. And it was also the only fully animated picture to receive a Oscar nomination for the Best Picture award. BTW, I have not seen the IMAX release of 'Beauty & The Beast', but I heard that it is a great experience seeing this 3D version of the animated film. It also contains the added 'Human Again' sequence that was done specially for the 10th anniversary re-release (included in the DVD Platinum Edition).

Summary: Excellent modern disney Classic.
Review: Belle ( voiced by Paige Haira) is a lovely french Maiden who likes to read alike until he meets a Fearsome Beast ( voiced by Robby London) in a Castle, over there she teaches him about being kind to others that way the Beast's magic spell would be broken and be Human again. This is a phenomenal Disney movie that would appeal to kids, teens and adults alike with it's stunning animation, great songs and cool characters such as " Lumier" and " Cogsworth". It's one of my favorite Disney Cartoon movies of all time, it's got true beauty with great artwork which makes this a must own DVD that's coming out ...
