Summary: They should make more movies like this!
Review: I've seen it about 75 times since the it came out. I have never gotten tired of it. NEVER! It has everything you want in a movie without cursing and nudity. Sword fights, revenge, a deadly swamp, a giant, a gorgeous hero, a beautiful heroine, BILLY CRYSTAL, and soooo much more. You've got to see it!

Summary: *Sigh* Sure to make you smile.
Review: As I read though the many many reviews of this movie (and I must confess I can quote the entire movie) I fight the urge to shout in pure joy at the huge amount of people who share my love for the masterpiece Rob Reiner created. Each line that a viewer quotes pulls the corners of your mouth into a giant grin! This movie WILL stick with you and you WILL find yourself whispering "As you wish" in the ear of your loved one.

Rob Reiner uses the art in simplicity to create a wonderous and ageless tale, brilliantly cast to keep the comedy flowing and the movie suitable for all ages. Lines that give you comedy and drama and are absolutely qoutable make me ashamed that Hollywood cannot return to a time were a wonderful movie can shine without having to take cheap shots for purely sexual comedy.

Read the book also and marvel at William Goldman's genuis for creating simple book set up as such a complicated background story (for there is no S. Morganstern <sob>)

Enjoy this wonderful movie that will be a joy to all.

P.S. In fact I have never met a person who did not love this movie!

P.P.S. Well acually I have, but she has always been a little strange in the head anyway.

Enjoy!

Summary: One of the best movies ever
Review: I have to say that this is one of my most favorite movies. I have seen it maybe a hundred times. On my twenty-first birthday my friends and I sat in a coffee house just repeating every line from The Princess Bride that we could--which was nearly every line in it. On the night of my wedding rehersal three years ago, my bridesmaid said in a loud, stately voice: "Mawwige. Mawwige is what bwings us together today..." It was so hilarious! The Princess Bride is a great movie for friends to see together and remember together.

Summary: NOT FORGOTTEN IN SEVEN YEARS
Review: I saw this film first time when I was eleven or twelve, and I adored it. The the years went by. I couldn't forget the film and tried to get hold of it again. Not possible. Then I got Internet access and bought it from Amazon. I still love it (I'm almost 19). A friend of mine saw it with me, and she loved it, too. Things like: "You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die." In the words of the Beatles: Love, love, love (dumdada). I love Elwes, Wright, Patinkin, and everybody else. Oh, and let's not forget Billy Crystal, almost impossible to recognize! If you haven't seen it, see it! If you have, see it again!

Summary: I AM CURRENTLY MARRIED BECAUSE OF THIS FILM
Review: I met the person who is now my wife by chance, as I was meeting an acquaintance for a few drinks (Kerry, now my wife, came along--she was roommates with this acquaintance of mine). Kerry had just had a 1.5 year relationship end less than 12 hours before. Well, we got to talking, and I was quite taken with her, and it came out that 1) The Princess Bride was our favorite movie, 2) we both had Princess Bride posters in our rooms, and 3) we both read the book (excellent, written in the 70's) and wrote away for the "missing chapter". Because of this she did not ignore the fact that she found me "intriguing," which she would normally have done because she just had a big breakup a FEW HOURS earlier. So, I drove to see her (out of town) for the 5 next weekends, and then quit my job and moved to her town, found work, and now we're married. (We've now got 3 copies of the movie, two in use and one not-yet opened...just in case.) Watch the Princess Bride...it might just RESHAPE YOUR WORLD...

Summary: A TEENAGE GUY and all of his friends love it!
Review: NO MOVIE BETTER! None! There will never ever be a better movie than the Princess Bride. Every aspect of this movie is amazing! What guy wouldn't dream of being as much of a stud as Westly? Westly is the best! Inigo is up there too, and Fezzik is awesome! Anyone who sees this movie must immediately buy it and watch it Weekly for the rest of their life. PLEASE! See the movie! Blows Titanic away!!!
