Summary: Very excellent!
Review: This is probably close to my, if not most, favorite movies of all. It has great special effects and the soundtrack is beautiful. But the actors are awesome. Noah Hathaway did an outstanding job in this movie. It follows pretty close to the book, but it skips a lot and is based on the first half of the book. But it is very nice as it is and someone who hadn't read the book would enjoy it too. I saw and loved this movie as a 4 or 5 year old. It will probably always remain one of my all time favorites.

Summary: I loved it as a child & I love it now as an adult.
Review: My mother took me to see this movie when I was 10 years old and I'm 24 now and I'm buying it for my son. It's a great family movie.

Summary: Two thumbs up way up!!
Review: I've seen this movie when I was really young. This is one of my favs. There is nothing wrong about producers, directors, and writers opening up kids imagination. The characters was really original and the acting was cool..the effects are tight. It was an 80 movie but if u show it to your kids they even would not know the difference.this movie was better than Mickey's fantasia..I love the song too

Summary: A World of Dreams
Review: The NeverEnding Story was the best fantasy movie I ever saw. Great special effects and the soundtrack is outstanding. The NeverEnding Story is the childhood dream world we all had: dragons, Ivory Towers, and loveable creatures.

Summary: Fanstastic Piece of Childhood Magic
Review: I first time I saw this movie when I was in the first grade. At the time, I remember thinking how wonderful and magical it was that a young boy like me could be a hero and save an entire world. Recently, I decided to rewatch it, and I found it even better the second time. Noah Hathaway gives an outstanding performance as the courageous Atreyu, with Barret Oliver giving a very realistic impression of a young boy with problems beyond his years. This movie combines the childlike elements of a fairy tale and the complexity of a well-written novel that will attract people both young and old. Along with this outstanding movie, the audience is treated to inspiring music, including Limahl's incredible movie signature theme (turn around, look at what you see...) which is beautifully written with inspiring lyrics. Overall, this movie allows you to become a hero, find inner courage, and gives you back a part of your childhood.

Summary: Close, but no cigar...
Review: I have to give the makers of this movie credit for trying, but really, it could have been better. The film does little justice to Ende's highly imaginative book, the acting is mediocre, and the dialogue is awkward. But on the other hand, the soundtrack is nothing short of amazing, the movie is well directed, and the effects are pretty good when you consider that the movie was made in a pre-computer animation era. In conclusion: rent (don't buy) this movie, it will be well worth your time.

Summary: The best film of the history
Review: I love this film since I was a little girl. My name is Cris and I'm a Spanish girl. I have seen the movie 51 times because this is my favourite movie. I think Noah Hathaway and Barret Oliver make a very good work in it. You must see it,I am sure you will love this movie after that!!

Summary: An Eternal Favorite
Review: I believe I was around six years old when I first saw this film. It is possibly the first movie I remember seeing ever, was my favorite then, and somehow is still one of my favorites now. Maybe it's just nostalgia on my part. But I believe this is an utterly fabulous film. Can't think of anything else to write.

Summary: Food for Imagination!
Review: As a child this movie urged me to use my wonderful imagination. I am now an aspiring fantasy novelist. I used to wish I could be Bastian and go on adventures such as this, and for and hour and a half I was and I could. Bastian's love of books also leads children to their pages. I've read every book he named in that bookstore. I had them read 5 years after I saw it for the first time. I was 4 when I saw it.
