Summary: Please Rent This Movie, "My Dog Skip"
Review: Please at least rent this movie because you will probably watch it more than once. I love this movie, it is one of my favorite movies... My other favorite movie is "A Walk To Remember". This movie is about a boy and his dog. The boy's name is Willie, and the dog's name is Skip. Willie is a boy who only has one friend, a high school jock named Dink who lives next door, who has to leave to serve in World War II. Skip helps Willie make friends, follows him around all of the time, even got Willie a girlfriend. My favorite thing about Skip though, is that he is Willie's best friend.

After you see this movie you'll want to give your dog a hug or if you don't have one you will wish you had a dog as great as Skip. I am almost 13 now, and I still watch this movie over and over again. I hope that you will go out and see this movie soon, or else buy it now. It's my favorite.

Summary: A great tale.
Review: I just revisited this movie, and i realized how great a movie this is. Kevin Bacon and Diane Lane were very good in this, but, i have to admit, i loved frankie muniz for it most of all, considering he is the main character. His current movies bother me, but this, this is classic. Some of the scenes were a little slow, but gee, the ending makes me cry. Any movie or show that can make me do that deserves some kind of treat.

Summary: Very Emotional Classic
Review: My brother recommended this movie to me, and I am very glad he did! Skip the dog really helps this youngster through some tough times. The more I think about it--the more I am starting to think Skip the dog represents the young boys feelings. This is a very emotional movie, but I would recommend it to everyone.

Summary: Great
Review: I am from Mississippi and am a huge Willie Morris fan so of course I am going to love this movie. As far as I am concerned this is Kevin Bacon's best performance. Why I say this is because while I was watching the movie I felt connected to it . I know these people and this place. It was very surreal and I guess that is what great movies do. Take you away.

Summary: Great, heartfelt movie!
Review: I watched this movie on TV just because there wasn't anything else on. But it is definitely a great movie. I sobbed through the end of it, probably because I'm a dog lover, but I would definitely watch it again. The producers don't dwell on sad events; instead, they concentrate on the beloved story of a kid and his adorable Jack Russell Terrier, Skip. Even if you don't love dogs, you will fall in love with such a heartfelt, affectionate story. You can see what a dog can mean to a person, and you, without even realizing it, feel for the dog and the boy. It is definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. I love this movie, and I would recommend anybody to see it. The contents of the story are depressing to dog lovers, like myself, but are inspirational and encouraging to all. However, if you are sensitive or love dogs, make sure you have tissues available. But other than that it's a great movie and I would watch it again any day.

Summary: Good story but be careful! It shouldn't be rated G
Review: This story is very sweet and winsome. The acting of the young man in it is great. However the language at one point was awful and I couldn't believe this film was rated G. One scene where the boys tell a gruesome story would be scary for young children. Also a part where Skip is harmed would really upset young children. Ther is a part where the mom defies the dad that I didn't care for. I would say watch it first without the kids and then you'll know what parts to skip.If you're careful it could be an enjoyable film. Just don't let them watch it alone.

Summary: Too Precious
Review: I love dogs more than anything in the world, especially my own dog. That's why it's hard for me to rate movies like this.On the one hand ,they're really sweet. On the other hand they make me cry.I had tears on my face at the end of this picture,it's too much.I could never watch it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What makes it all the more touching is that it is a true story. You will see the boy, whatsisname, first recieve Skip as a little puppy, and go right through to the time the dog dies.Omigod,I think Im going to cry again. If you want to see just how much a dog can mean to a person, then you might like to see this film.

Summary: Possibly not suitable for dog lovers
Review: I got this movie because I wanted to laugh and feel good; which I did. But I wish there was a warning on the front that the content of this movie may not be suitable for dog lovers; I cried and cried ...

It's a good movie, but it was just too sad for me. I should have seen it coming.

Summary: A great movie
Review: My wife and I loved this movie. A heart warming story. It might make you buy a dog if you have a only child who is looking for a companion.
