Review: A lot of people might not like this movie because it is wholesome and good. In my opinoion it is the best movie along with Anne of Avonlea. My friends think that brand knew movies are better than older movies but thats just a bunch of bologna!

Review: I first watched this on British TV a few years back and have spent the years in between searching desperately for it on video. Don't make the same mistake. If you find it buy it it is the best video of the best books, wonderful; for both adults and children.

Review: Although four hours may seem like a lot, it really isn't. I really love how Kevin Sullivan captured such a heart warming story to make even the least sentimental guy love it. The producers of this movie really made me believe I was watching the life of a little girl from age 12 to 18. Megan Follows really pulled it off great. There was some sad surprises, but I will always treasure them as they are a major part of the movie's dynamic. High praise goes to Sullivan Entertainment for a movie I will love forever. I look forward to the third installment when it's released on video.

ps...i am planning on going to Prince Edward Island (where this movie was filmed) for my honeymoon! Thats how incredible it is!

Review: I was in a bad mood that day. It was one of those days where nothing goes right. I was handed this movie and I never heard of it before then I popped it into my VCR and watched the hole thing through. After I was done crying because Mathew died and the movie was over I felt alot better the hole day through and it seemed that I had nothing to worry abut. This movie is a muct see and when you do see it you will love it.

Review: Anne of Green Gables & Anne of Avonlea are the two videos we have seen, and every New Year's Eve, all the girls from my family (my six daughters & my three nieces) sit in our living room and watch the series all the way through. We identify with Anne because our six daughters are adopted. Of course, we identify with Anne because she's so real -- just like one of us. I recommend the entire series for family viewing. I guarantee there won't be a dry eye in the house! Wonderful, true-to-life,entertainment!
