Summary: The best movie of the decade
Review: This is the greatest movie of the decade, it makes the people wonder, where do we come from?, and other interrrogants, that the director Robert Zemeckis captures with really great audiovisual and spiritual elements. The performance of Jodie is simply stunning, and the history moves the viewer. Incredible movie! .

Summary: Astronomical
Review: I loved this movie...this movie has inspired me to become an astronaut...I'm no longer afraid to have my own thoughts and beliefs no matter how much people say that I'm totally crazy...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best films ever made
Review: I love this movie so much. It gets better and better each time you watch it. Jodie Foster is amazing. She really got snubbed at the Academy Awards. That was a real injustice. The part where she has just reached Vega and she starts saying "It's so beautiful, so beautiful..." something about that just chokes me up more than almost anything.

Summary: Some thought provoked
Review: I never found the idea very compelling that you have to believe in God to get to go see the ET. I found that, perhaps the closest link between science and religion was established in this film by a plot that Arroway actually did get to go... Some crazy thought.

Summary: An inspiring and thought-provoking movie with heart
Review: Contact was one of the rare movies that moved me and inspired me to take a longer look at my own beliefs and the world around me. The wonderful ideas behind it - science and religion and how the world reacts to contact with an alien intelligence - come from the book by Carl Sagan, which is different, but also good.

It was just so refreshing to see an intelligent dialogue about science, faith, religion and what lies beyond our own little sphere. Also, a very exciting movie, very well acted by Jodie Foster, Angela Bassett, Tom Skeritt, James Woods and others.

Definitely see this movie or read the book!!! Preferably, do both.

Summary: Why do some people hate this movie?
Review: This movie actually made me think (Wow a shock!) I enjoyed almost every minute of it, but I think it still deserves a 5 because of the questions it raises that I must answer. I liked the ending a bit with all the mini radio satalites( or did the just apear mini b/c they were so far away?) near the end. I recomend it to most people.

Summary: Nice Movie
Review: The first part of the movie is pretty slow, but it escalates in a frenzy of action later on. The sound and picture quality is superb. I reccommend this movie to anyone who like sci-fi type movies. Life is out there.
