Summary: I can continue to LOVE this movie...
Review: Now that I have it on DTS DVD where I enjoyed it in all it's splender. Not only does Ron Howard make a great docudrama, but the sound effects and presentation on DVD is outstanding. If you liked the movie and wondered about DTS, this is the one to buy. Have fun.

Summary: Kick-Butt film
Review: Apollo 13 is probably one of the best docu-dramas of the 20th century. The special effects and the acting are incredibly well-done. The music augments all of the scenes perfectly, and the jargon appeals to the space cadet in all of us. Buy the disc!

Summary: Amazing
Review: Apollo 13 is quite possibly the best film I have ever seen. Its dramatic rendition of the events of April, 1970 is absolutely superb. The flawless techical references and jargon apeals to the geek in us all, and the climatic plot line makes you feel proud to be an American.

Summary: Gets better every time!
Review: The first time I saw Apollo 13 in 1995, I thought it was technically superb and well acted. The second time i watched it, I admired the flawless effects and the flawless performances by Hanks, Bacon (believe it or not), Harris and Co. I have now grown to, not just like and respect the film, but regard it as one of the decades top 25 films. It grew on me and it will grow on you. True drama is always more intense. 94/100 A

Summary: Not too much action/suspense
Review: I wanted them to make it on the moon not have to worry about getting back to earth somehow. I felt it was boring and predictable. It needed more action like Armagedon or Star Wars. This movie was too realistic which made it all the more boring.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Can't stop watching this thing
Review: I find myself intensely interested in this tale because of the extras included on the DVD. I watched the documentary, the Director's comments, Jim & Marilyn Lovell's comments -- and ate up every word. This all makes sense on DVD because it's more than just a movie -- it's true life. A must-own for DVD fans.
