Rating: Summary: A must-have! Review: If you do not have this in your collection order it now! It's two of the coolest animated movies I've ever seen. The second even has a Darth Vader parody that has a really funny end to it.
Rating: Summary: Daughters favorite Review: My 2 year old loves Woody and Buzz. We have a pretty good DVD collection, but she always picks this one. I am glad there are 2 so I don't have to watch the same one over and over again. Thanks Buzz!
Rating: Summary: Even adults will love this one... Review: As usual, the artists of Toy Story have done a great job in creating Toy Story 2! Kids and adults alike will surely enjoy this animation, not because it's a 'cartoon', because many of the toys will bring back memories and spark up the kid that sometimes gets lost in the adult world. It's quite a lively approach to reuniting the older generation, with something that was long forgotten, with the younger generation to what being a kid was all about. With toys like Woody, Mr. Potato Head, and Etch-a-sketch seen in this animated fashion it's a film nobody can miss! With the integration of actor-voices like Tom Hanks and his humorous style it turns any frown back to a smile. This animation is the perfect gift for any child or adult and a great way to enjoy a film as a family.

Rating: Summary: If you have kids you'll end up memorizing lines Review: When I first reviewed this I was thinking that I didn't like the second movie as much as the first. Perhaps I was wrong. My two daughters, ages 14 years and 18 months, both love this movie more than any other we own. I have watched it or heard it in the distance dozens of times. A year ago my then 6 month old daughter didn't watch movies, now at a year and a half she is a huge fan of Buzz. She loves Buzz and askes to watch him almost everyday. She has a buzz toy, which is her favorite. Buzz, Buzz, Buzz. I still like the first Toy Story movie a little bit more, but I think both movies deserve a 5 and that any family with young ones should have this set in their collection. They are both good clean fun and enjoyable to watch, even for the umpteenth time.
Rating: Summary: Lots of fun... Review: This is one of the best animated films ever made. Each character is loveable, but not so that they become obnoxiously cute. Famous voices abound in this film. There are lots of parodies in this film as well, most of which make fun of other films, from Star Wars to Jurassic Park. At the same time, the plot is interesting and the film entertains. I recommend Toy Story One and Two for kids of all ages. Don't let the title fool you. Toy Story is likely to be enjoyed by everyone.
Rating: Summary: The Best Movie I've Ever Seen! Review: Okay, okay. I'm only 12 years old so I'm no Roger Ebert. But I have to admit this is my favorite movie!! I just seemed to love it when I saw it in theatrical release six years ago!! For years I waited for a sequel, and in 1999 I finally got my wish. You see, this movie is about friendship, life, and things like that. Amazing how a Cowboy doll, an "old" thing was replaced by a spacetoy. It just seems so clever to me! The characters had such distinct personalites, like Rex, Slinky, Mr. Potato Head. They all blended together to make a wonderful story. In fact, me and my Brother, Mat know this movie so well, we pratically know every line to it. I even made a small book trying to write down every single said thing!! I also have the movie, two posters a calendar, the video game and a book on it. Woody tries to get rid of Buzz but in the end, they become best friends! The plot had so much, getting captured by a sadistic kid(Sid), trying to catch a van, having little Army men, everything! The sequel was amazingly worthy, because... Oh, I've talked enough! Rent Toy Story tonight!
Rating: Summary: These movies are the benchmark for 3D animation Review: There's a reason why everyone rates these movies with 5 stars. They are worth watching over and over. I think all animation students, both 2D and 3D benefit from watching these movies. Aspiring filmmakers will also degree. They are movies for all ages and everyone can enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Toy Story 2 Disney-Pixar's worst film. Review: Good news for parents who had young kids get scared by Toy Story: Disney and Pixar has made another movie, and called it Toy Story 2. I enjoyed the first Toy Story movie, even thought I couldn't beleive that Tom Hanks was the voice of Woody in the first and is again in this film. And this time Woody is famous. He aways was, but he didn't know. That in the 50's he had his own tv show called Woody's Roundup, in which the characters are puppets on string. But it got canceled becuase of kids only wanted to play with space toys. As Toy Story 2 opens, that his owner Andy (John Morris) is taking him to a camp. But Woody's arm gets torn and is left back at home. And while Andy at camp, his mom (Laurie Metcalf) holds a yard sale. And takes a penguin that is Woody's friend and sales him in a box for 25 cents. Woody goes off to the yard sale and falls off of Andy's dog. And Big Al who needs Woody to ship off the Roundupp gang to Japan, steals Woody after his mom won't sell it to him. And Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles), Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Rex (Wallace Shawn), and Slinky Dog (Jim Varney in his last movie) goes off to save Buzz. And gets a warning from Mrs. Potato Head, "Don't Talk to any toy you don't know".
Rating: Summary: A very nice surprise! (I had to write this review) Review: Ok, here's my opinion: GREAT MOVIES!!! Any opinion about the quality of sound, visuals and content has already said, and I share it. What I want to add is that I bought it because I just simply loved the movies, so I had to have them! I didn't care about getting my copy in Region 1 format, because I speak English. But this is where the surprise came up: disc 1 (which I think it's the best story) is in three languages: English, French and Spanish! Then I like it more, because now my two under-6-year-old nephews can watch it with me and listening to it in our native language (they're learning English, and I think experiencing one of their favorites movies in both languages will help them improve their skills). This is also motivating to buy more titles, so I will. That's it. Enjoy the movies!
