Summary: compared with "Saftey Freak",not like I expected
Review: Another regular episode(but worse). They don't show "Saftey Freak",alot 'cause it might have too much stupid stuff...but I like their stupid stff, and it was not like I expected in the commercials. In the commercials,Patchy was ging in the past and in the auditions for American Idol(would make it 4 stars),and the singing cowboy guys(makes it a [GOOD] four!),and some more [PIZAZ](5 STARS!),but no,they make a lousy ep.Atleast there was Patchy segments.worst ep. w/ patchy.Patchy did not make the film exciting.the robot part was ok.but not the show.squig, pathar and spongar were boring, the singing quartet was fine...but the show-sucked! what ever happened to the good episodes.the 1st eps were kinda boring, then the newer one-better! But the newest ones(like before comedy)was horrible. If you like caveman that's boring. (...)

Summary: Good stuff
Review: As an employee of a toy store, I strongly disagree with the amount of commercialism that surrounds many of Nickelodeon's cartoon's, especially Spongebob. But as a sophisticated 22 year-old college graduate, I must admit I'm a huge fan of Spongebob. The humor is light-hearted and hilarious. I can see why children are attracted to the artwork and voices, but most of the storylines are definitely directed towards an older audience. I have all nine of the DVD's, and I look forward to the tenth this summer.

Summary: WHERE SPONGEBOB STANDS ON DVD:
Review: HERE ARE THE NUMBERS:

(EXCLUDING the defunct and rip-off that is The Complete 1st Season box set) There are a total of 31 episodes unreleased in the Spongebob saga...

So if you are this far with the 'Theme' based DVDs as I am, I say stick with it VS. going with the box sets since they already SCREWED UP The Complete 1st Season box set by NOT including the Pilot episode, "Help Wanted"...

Since the 'Theme' based DVDs like this one are able to include 10 episodes, and there are 31 left, there is likely to be 3 future 'Theme' based DVDs released, leaving one episode missing. So, either they'll squeeze it one of the releases somehow, or they'll forever leave it off, who knows, maybe it will be "Help Wanted" again!?! And we will never secure that eppy...

Just a little information for you... SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOVIE!

Summary: Literally Before Comedy? I would like to know...
Review: I am a huge Spongebob fan, which earns me a lot of flack from other grown-ups, believe me. I bought this DVD the day of release and popped it into the player this evening. "Spongebob B.C." or "Ugh" is the WORST episode ever. It was just plain stupid, and not in the "so stupid, it's funny" way. I have never been a fan of Patchy, and this was the worst Patchy segment ever as well. For the DVD to be titled after and anchored by this episode is just plain awful. As for the rest of the episodes on this disc, you get a nice variety from all of the seasons, like "Fools in April" from Season 1 and "Plankton's Army" which just recently aired early in 2004. "Plankton's Army" might have been better suited to anchor this DVD. "Squid on Strike" is another excellent episode. If you love your DVD's with extra fun goodies, don't get too excited either, because there isn't hardly any, just a demo for the video game. I don't have a DVD-ROM on my computer, so this means nothing for me. If you are a die-hard fan or your kids are, this DVD is worth the money. However, if you are looking for the best of Spongebob, I would go with the "Sea Stories" DVD or the not-entirely complete Season 1 set.

Summary: sponge bob is the bomb!!
Review: i'd say sponge bob is very cool. this one was not the best one i'd say because 95% of the movie you could not hear what sponge bob was saying because he was talking all prehistoric like a cave man but i got to say it was very ummm lets see kind of interesting!

Summary: Another Great Spongebob Set
Review: Once again, Spongebob got us a great DVD to enjoy often!

Here some highlights from the DVD:

Spongebob B. C. (Before Comedy): Patchy show us how fun it was in prehistoric times, while Potty the Parrot show us the Future, while the main story, "Ugh" (LOVE THAT TITLE!), tell of how Spongebob, Patrick and Squidwad discovered fire.

Plankton's Army: Pankton and his whole family (Tons of them) finally unwrapped the secret of the Krabby Patty.

The Great Snail Race: Squidwad got a pet snail to compete against Gary in a wacky snail race (You ought to see Patrick's snail!).

Squid On Strike: Spongebob and Squidwad quit their jobs at the Krusty Krab and go on strike.

With all these, and more, this one surely to be added to your DVD collection.

Summary: Spongebob Rules
Review: Spongebob is the best show ever. Don't pass it by just because all these other cartoons they have out now stink (Catdog, Rocket Power). I'll review the episodes.
Nature Pants 4/5: Got a little boring at times, but good anyway.

Fools In April 4/5: Good Episode, but nothing special

I'm with Stupid 4/5: Once again, good but nothing special

Squid On Strike 5/5: Genius. Pure Genius

The Great Snail Race 5/5: Once again, Genius

Plankton's Army 5/5: The Ultimate Plankton Fan Episode

Squillam Returns 5/5: Very Funny (You won't need the worlds smallest violin)

Patty Hype 5/5: Good ol' classic, funny Spongebob.

Spongebob B.C. 3/5: The Funny Cartoon itself I'd probably give a 4/5, but Patchy has to make everything worse.

Overall I give this one 5 stars. Typical good Spongebob

Summary: Not the best one, not the worst one
Review: This DVD has a good mix of episodes featuring different characters. My least favorite is SpongeBob BC - the painful double-length episode that mixes our animated friends with Patchy the Pirate dressed as a caveman. It's not even funny in a goofy way - it's just kind of boring. The DVD does redeem itself with Plankton's Army and Squilliam Returns. If you are a fan like me you'll probably get this DVD more out of habit than desire.
