Summary: awesome video
Review: I was skeptical about the Baby Einstein videos at first. My husband bought them for our third baby. I remember thinking "What do these videos have that we need afer 3 children?" But my 1 year old, my 3 year old, and my 6 year old love them and watch them together. They love the music and the simple yet creative scenes. My favorite, by far, is the Baby Newton! The music is peppy and I sing it to myself long after the video is over. The clown is adorable and I usually do not like clowns at all. This is the only video that I want to watch with my children!

Summary: Maybe a little different..BUT another good one !!!
Review: My daughter enjoy most of Baby Einstein series, so I bought this one for her 1yr birthday. She totally LOVED it. It is a little different from the rest of the series, but also has a lot of similalities, such as puppets, and classic music BGM etc.
It also uses up-tempo song which my daughter loves to dance with, and 3D animation.
As it is suggested on the box, it probably tuned into for older babies(1 and up) to teach them about shapes, but I don't see the reason why not use for younger babies for musical entertaiment. It is GREAT. We(my daughter and I) both loved it, and it has been such a life-saver for busy time cooking.

Summary: Baby's Favorite
Review: I bought this video for my 7 month old son and he absolutely loves it. He could be playing with his other toys and as soon as I put in this video, he stops what he is doing to watch. Baby Newton will hold his attention until the end. I highly recommend this video!

Summary: Love this video!
Review: My 6 month old recently began watching Baby Mozart, I bought Baby Bach, he didn't like it, Baby Einstein, didn't like that one either!! I purchased Baby Mozart and my son was enthralled!! His older brothers, ages 6 and 4, enjoy watching it with him. They call it the "baby video". I'm so pleased with this one, it's a great way to introduce shapes and colors!!

Summary: the best one yet!
Review: Some people say this one is different from the other einstein vidoes and it is, but my 8 month old has been watching it since he was about 5 months and he LOVES it. He smiles and gets all excited when I put baby newton on. its definetly his favorite.
My 4 year old nephew watches it with him alot too and has learned his shapes from it!

Summary: Yes it's splashier, but still fabulous!
Review: I realize that this company got a bit ahead of itself with production in this video, but my TWELVE month old still thinks it's great. The songs are catchy, the puppets are cute, and I will continue to buy products from this company.

Summary: A little too much help from Big Ol' Disney-
Review: What a major disappointment- I felt cheated for my triplets- they are 18 months and afraid of most of the animation and characters. We miss the "kithcy" feel that the previous videos had. Sure hope the Clark family has more say in the production of new releases! Get back to basics...!

Summary: A Different Format, but still a Winner!
Review: I bought this tape because Julie Clark is the love of my son's life!! Anything with her name on it, he has to have! So, when I got this video home, I really did not like it - it is so different than the earlier productions. But, my son is 22 months old now and was ready for something a bit more advanced. It took a while to warm up to the new format (and get over my hatred of clowns) but it's a winner now! My advice to skeptics, give it a chance. I'm looking forward to the next release!

Summary: LOVE IT!
Review: My son is 15 months old. We have all the Baby Einstein, Baby Genius and Brainy Baby vidoes. There must be something to be said for these tapes. He knows his entire alphabet and can count to ten when alternating letters and numbers with Mommy. He absolutely loves the animated crayons and has even learned the word "shape" from the catchy jingle.

This video is more high-tech than the others with adorable computerized animation, but still with intermittent use of puppets. It's the best one yet. I would recommend it for kids 12 mos+.

Summary: My Son Likes The Lion Puppet vs the Animated Clay Figures
Review: We have several of the Baby Einstein tapes. This one is good but not as preferred by our son, the ultimate consumer here, as most of the older ones. Our son has enjoyed Baby Van Gogh the most because of the sound and vivid colors.

The new format of Baby Newton was more interesting to the adults who have seen it with us - it's a little more snazzy and upbeat, but my son seems to greatly prefer the puppets and their noises to the clay crayon man or the clown character.

It's good that this format offers the old Baby Einstein way along with introducing the new Pixar-type characters. I think the key to having my son enjoy the animated clay figures is that the crayon man and clown are more like updated Gumby characters and that the really cool Toy Story and Shrek and Monsters Inc videos are about the humor and delightful vocal talent of the actors behind them.

If Baby Einstein wants to grab and delight the kids, I think the ride into the clay figures is gonna need to be a bit more adventuresome.

If instead, Baby Einstein wants to stay in its own unique category of teaching kids with colors and shapes and puppets, it already had a winning combination.

This video is very good but not as good as the earlier ones.
