Rating: Summary: Get ready....to vomit... Review: ...purge this poison from your mind. I've banished Barney from our house and I'm reloading for the Wiggles. This is like candy corn for the mind. They make the Elmo merchandising machine look like a lemonade stand-how can you not be cynical about the array of Wiggles crap out there? Not to mention the ticket prices they charge for their appearances. That Henry the Octopus has driven me to drink. Utter stupidity.
Rating: Summary: SOS - Same Old Songs Review: As stated on the jacket, this tape is made up of episodes of the Wiggles TV Show. You've already heard all the songs, and if you're a Wiggles fan, you already own them all as well.If you get the Disney Channel, and have time to watch when "The Wiggles" are on, then you probably don't need this one. If however, you're a true Wiggles fan, you'll probably get it anyway for the other content, but don't expect too much. Greg spends most of his time trying to coax a reluctant rabbit out of a hat, Anthony is either eating as usual, or practicing a magic trick that he can't quite get right, and Jeff and Murray spend a lot of time lying on fake grass on fake stones, looking at fake clouds. There's a lot of emphasis on family and helping each other, and a strange segment when Dorothy is especially nice to Anthony because she wants to adopt him! An unusual concept to bring up in this type of children's show in my opinion. There are some good bits when Wags plays a trick on Captain Feathersword, and when the Door scolds them for not looking after Jeff. The skits take place in different places, so you get many scenery changes, including going back in time. The clips from the live show are not the best, with The Wiggles looking either tired or bored, with no backgrounds or props, and no dancing. The audience is obviously enjoying it though. This video contains some favorite songs and some entertaining filler material. Not an essential buy, but good to borrow or rent.
Rating: Summary: Daughter loves it! Review: At first I was disappointed with the fact that this video has no new songs on it, but after watching it with my 2 1/2 year old daughter over and over and over yesterday I have come to enjoy the tape. The video shows excerpts from the Wiggles TV show and places them in between the familiar song clips. My daughter laughed out loud at the TV show clips. She enjoys being able to sing along with the songs and dance with the dancers. If you are looking for just new songs, this is probably not the tape for you, but if you are looking for a good mix of laughs and songs, this tape is great.
Rating: Summary: Another winner from the Wiggles!! Review: Here we get a sneak peek at the Wiggles t.v. show-and what a great show it is!! All our faves are here and they all get their time to shine!! There is still plenty of music to keep the kids entertained and dancing. The lessons are well done and not too long. They teach are kids about family and the universe and sun all in a seamless and fun way. It's a great addition to the Wiggles collection.
Rating: Summary: Know going in that you're just buying TV episodes Review: I didn't, and I was very disappointed. With four showings daily on the Disney Channel, why on earth would I waste my money on a tape full of TV episodes? Besides, the other Wiggles videos offer something different than the formula of the TV show, and that helps maintain my 22-month-old daughter's interest when she watches them. Not so here. She's not old enough to really understand viewing a TV show vs. a video, and when I put this one on, she keeps pointing to the cover, assuming I've not yet started the tape. Yes, the box says waaaaay down in the description that this material was culled from TV material, if you read that far. But if you're like me, you see the shiny box with smiling Wiggles faces, trust the franchise, and buy it. Oops. If you're looking for TV show material, you'll love it. Otherwise, buyer beware! I feel ripped off, which is something I don't often say in reference to The Wiggles.

Rating: Summary: Great Video! Review: I have two boys, ages 10 and 2. They both love to watch The Wiggles! The video is packed with great songs and skits. Do not expect educational content though. It is just fun to watch. I highly recommend this video.
Rating: Summary: Fun skits with old stand by songs Review: My 2 year old daughter LOVES this video. We have the Wiggle Time video but she favors this one. We watch it evey day and she even carries the video case around the house. Although most of the songs are ones we've heard before, my daughter really seems to enjoy the little skits which add depth to all the characters, including Captain Feathersword and Dorothy. I only wish the Wiggles show was available on American TV!

Rating: Summary: The Wiggles-Wiggly Playtime Review: My son started watching The Wiggles when he received Wiggle Time for his first birthday. He absolutly loved it. He had never been enthralled with anything on TV but The Wiggles hit the spot. Subsequently, we bought him Yummy Yummy which was also a hit. He is now 18 months and last week we bought Wiggly Playtime for something new to watch. He is more rapt in this video than the other two. Where as he may have watched his other tapes for 10 to 15 minutes, this one he watches (if we let him) to the end. We believe it's because there are stories combined with the good old favorite songs he knows (plus a couple of new ones). In short, it seems to appeal to his current age, more so than his first tapes. If your child is already a Wiggles fan but needs more than just the songs as they get older, we highly recommend this video. We are Australian and therefore proud of what these guys are doing. Their formal education in childrens development is evident. This video is another quality effort from these blokes. And best of all, our son loves it.
