Summary: This is the tale of castaways?
Review: Come on... you know you'll laugh.

This is far more than a parody of Gilligan's Island, but a tool to teach your children about forgiveness. Some messages need reinforcement more than others, and forgiveness is one of them.

Better than any sugar-coated message, "VeggieTales - God Wants Me to Forgive Them?" is excellent for parents and babysitters alike.

CCD and Sunday School teachers also will find this useful for getting an age-old lesson across.

I fully recommend this video.

Summary: best movie to watch!
Review: I am only 9 and I love Viggie Tales! Its better than any movie you could see on TV, If we had 4 more of those videoes we would have every one!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A great conversation-starter to watch with the kids
Review: I bought this video today for our 3- and 1-year old kids, who love the other "Veggie Tales" they've seen. But I also bought it for myself, thinking the "Gilligan's Island" spoof would be funny, and it truly was. Larry and Bob as "The Skipper" and his little buddy were right on target - it made me embarrased to see how much I remembered about that show! The story of Junior Asparagus getting his feelings hurt by the Grapes of Wrath initiated a discussion not only about forgiveness, but also about intentional cruelty. These tapes are wonderful for starting conversations with your children concerning morals, behavior and Bible teachings. Preschoolers just beginning to understand about making a mistake or causing pain will enjoy and benefit from this video. The music, as always, is a gas.

Summary: It's an entertaining education of morals and values.
Review: I have five children, ages 9-2, and they were all mesmorized! We have had many discussions on forgiveness since, and now we can't get that crazy "We are the Grapes of Wrath" song out of our heads!

Summary: Why is this thought of as one of the better ones?
Review: I have seen every episode of Veggietales, and let me tell you, this is my personal least favoriet. It is barely entertaining. And what's worse is that theres 2 films that are 1/2 the length of the standard one, all about forgiveness. 1/2 an hour of "I'll forgive you." It's a very good message, but it's boring. As for the silly song, well it doesn't have Larry, it's about a commercialized Forgive-a-matic, which you press a button to forgive you sins. But all you need to do is ask God, a charectar says. WE UNDERSTAND THE MESSAGE. We couldn't agree with Phil Vischier more that this is an excellent moral, but he pounds it into our heads. Every second of the show, minus the main titles is about forgiveness, but it's so much I forgive you that children might get bored. Maybe this film HAD to be made. It's is a good moral, but a very boring tape. I forgive them.

Summary: A weaker entry in the series
Review: I love this series, but this is one of the weaker videos. Instead of having a story based on the Bible, the second tale is based on Gilligan's Island! Also, it's not as funny or imaginitive, and the songs aren't as good. My favorite is still "Where's God When I'm Scared."

Summary: Forgivness
Review: Junior Asparagus learns that it's not always easy to forgive someone...

espicially if they're still mean to you after you've already forgiven them!

But Junior's dad reminds us how important it is to ask and offer forgivness.

Then, first-mate Larry and skipper Bobset off on a three-hour boat cruise that ends up on a desert isle after Larry accidentally crushes their boat.

Will rhe skipper and passenger ever forgive Larry?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Finally! A Crazy Video with Christian Values!
Review: Larry, Bob, Junior, and the whole gang will enthrall kids and entertain adults, all the while being funny, creative, and God-oriented.
