Rating: Summary: One year old grandson, Kyle, loves this video!! Review: My one year old grandson, Kyle, loves all the Baby Einstein and Baby Genius videos. His attention span is amazing. He hears the music and right away he heads for his rocking chair or my chair. When I sit with him I follow the directions given in the video and say whatever is showing on the screen. Kyle has his favorite parts which leads me to believe he is learning as well as enjoying.
Rating: Summary: Four thumbs down! Review: My seven month old twins do not find this video the least bit entertaining. They love the Baby Einstein tapes but for some reason they will not watch this one or So Smart II.

Rating: Summary: Best baby videos avaliable Review: Our baby boy (16 months) really gets into the Baby Genius videos with such enthusiasm, no comparrison to the other baby videos we purchased and are now stuck with. Wish we had known about Baby Genius before we wasted out time and hard earned money on the other baby videos we tried, they all put our child to sleep with boredom. The Baby Genius folks really did their homework for their two videos, we really want to see more volumes soon ! If your reading this Baby Genius Company....MAKE MORE VIDEOS...PLEASE!
Rating: Summary: Images Don't Relate To Music Review: The Baby Genious video is very low quality compared to the two Baby Einstein videos I own. First, the Baby Genious Mozart and Friends music track is muffled, and is no better than just playing a random mozart CD, then randomly placing images on the screen. For example, a number sequence from zero to nine slowly appears on the screan, but not in sync with the music. Then the music track ends and starts anew even though the numerical sequence has not completed. Some of the camera work is shaky, and appears as if it were photographed by amatures. The editing is random, again not in sequence with the music. The images are poor. Imagine a still picture of the sky, then two-dimensional drawings of ballons floot by the screen. The images are not interesting -- and their movements are computer generated, again not related to the music. All I can say is that my child's attention is not maintained by the Baby Genious Mozart and Friends video. I suggest getting the Baby Einstein videos because their music, editing and production values are far superior. Further, the Baby Einstein videos use puppets and real images. Happy parenting.

Rating: Summary: a mom Review: This is one of our favorite videos. The music is calming and pleasant. The pictures are simple. My first infant seemed most interested in this video. Now that I have two children, I put it on when I want them to "wind down". The infant watches intently, the 2 1/2 year old recites the numbers and letters and I get a little break with some nice music.
Rating: Summary: THIS IS SERIOUSLY GOOD VIDEO Review: This teaches my child numbers, counting, alphabets, shows his favorite animals both in photos and in pictures. Exactly the sort of thing he will be tested for entry to his kindergarten, all this while listening to Mozart, not some annoying loud music that other videos have on, while I, the harrassed mother, gets soothed.
Rating: Summary: Baby Genius-Mozart and Friends Review: This video is amazing!! My 4 month old daughter LOVES it. The music is wonderful, the variety of shapes & colors are very eye catching. My daughter giggles at the babies and animals.I think this tape is very educational by incorporating the letters and numbers along with the music. I give it 5 stars!!
