Rating: Summary: Your cat might like it, but you won't. Review: From the human:I was honestly surprised by how crappy the video really was. It was some person with a camcorder, filming some squirrels romping in their backyard. The motion was jerky and the focus kept changing. I had a hard time watching it without getting nauseous. I could have easily made my own tape, and will be, for that matter, of more than just squirrels. And yes, my friends, this was 80 minutes of squirrels only. At one point, there were some ducks in the background and I was hoping for a plot twist. But alas. Frum the cat: Holeeee krap derz skwirrls on da big bocks meowmie always watchis! At first, I started to charge one of dem, but den I desided to keep mine distance and watch dem from afar. Mostleee, I watched onlee da skwirrels at first, but den I got borded, espeshulee wen da skwirrels wuz in da tree and I kudnt see dem well. Meowmie sez she gotted noushus, but I tink shes just too dum to appresheeate fine art. Overall review: Mild entertainment for cats. Awful entertainment for hoomans. Save your $15 and make your own movie. And please, include more than just squirrels.
Rating: Summary: Great for Keeping Them Occupied Review: I work long hours and live in a small apartment and was looking for a way to mentally stimulate my cat while I was at work. I put it on in the morning on a low volume, and she can view it when she's bored. The first couple of days, she was batting at the TV and watching more. She still likes it, but it's more like entertainment when she wants it now. I keep searching for other volumes, like a bird volume, but haven't found anything yet. But it was everything I had hoped it would be. It looks vaguely amateurish, but it truly keeps them stimulated, and the background noise wouldn't be the same if you tried to do it yourself. It was certainly worth the money... I'd recommend it.
Rating: Summary: My cat WAS thrilled and so was I! Review: My cat can't get enough! I've always heard of these types of videos for cats, but never much thought about them until I got this one from a friend. My cat has never shown much intrest in the TV before so I didn't think he would care now, but as soon as it was on, the sounds and the twitching tails got my cats attention. He stalked behind the couch and would look around the corner at the TV and then suddenly run at the screen and try to touch the squirels. When the squirels would run off the screen my cat went looking for them behind the TV! It's as much enjoyment for my cat as it is for me.
