Summary: The Worst DVD that I ever bought!
Review: I have 10 month old twin daughters. They love this video! They love the music and don't want to miss a second watching the animals. I think it's a great introduction to animals for them. We can't wait to bring them to the zoo when it's warmer but for days we can't this video is fun for them.

Summary: The Worst DVD that I ever bought!
Review: My 14 month old daughter loves animals and we have the entire collection of the babyeinstein series, which also teaches kids through music. This DVD was exteremely slow and the music was slow as well. This DVD was so slow, that they concentrated on the giraffes for 5 minutes and showed every movement of the giraffe's mouth, when it slowly chewed it's food. Likewise they did the same with the elephants and several other animals. The animals looked like they were taking a lazy afternoon stroll or getting ready to doze off. This DVD is more for putting a kid to sleep. My 14 month old could not sit still because of the slow paced video. I was looking for some lively music and some animals that actually moved or ran or did something, rather than stand and enjoy the lazy afternoon sun.

Summary: Love the music and real animal footage
Review: My 18-month old daughter has been watching this video since she was about 10-months old. She loves the animals and we love watching it with her. After Sesame Street, a much loved show, this video offers refreshingly real footage (virtually no animation and no puppets) combined with classical music. While one reviewer complained that the Baby Genius videos are not exciting enough, we welcome these videos for precisely that reason. The only time our daughter watches videos is when it's time to calm down for bed or when she isn't feeling well. The Baby Genius videos can be very educational, but only with the help of a parent. We consider that a positive, and have enjoyed watching this video as a family.

Summary: the BEST video
Review: My 2 y/o LOVES this video!!! This is the one that is always asked for...and several times a day.

The Baby Genius videos are designed to be watched with a parent so the parent and tot can talk about what they are watching. A great concept especially since tots aren't supposed to be watching any TV if under 2.

This video beats any other video I have for my child (Baby Einstein series, Fisher Price series, Mommy & Me, Little Laureate). I haven't gotten sick of this video yet, unlike some of the other videos. THe San Diego Zoo and the Underwater Adventure are the 2 favorites in our house.

Summary: Not worth the money
Review: My 20 month daughter loves the entire Baby Einstein series and Bee Smart Baby series (Baby Bumblebee). She has been watching them since she was 12 months and can't take her eyes off them. I also bought several of the Baby Genius movies. None of them hold her attention for more than a few minutes. My complaint is that there is no speaking in them. They will show giraffes, elephants, etc but not say what those animals are. Another of the Baby Genius movies shows big numbers in bright colors but never says what that is.

Summary: Not very entertaining
Review: My 23 month old grew up watching the Baby Einstein series and she is constantly requesting to watch them over and over. I tried to put the San Diego Zoo on for her a few times now and several seconds into it she asks for the other dvds. I asked her if she liked this one and she says no....and she knows when she likes something and doesn't. I'm hoping as she gets older she will want to see the animals in this DVD. She knows what most of the animals are but she is not entertained by the music and I think they focus too long on each animal. They needed to move quicker threw the animals to hold her attention.

Summary: My 14 month old loves this video!
Review: My daughter has been watching the Baby Genius videos since she was 3 months old and she loves all of them (she cannot sit through ANY of the Baby Einstein video's, and neither can we). This video has taught her the different animals and now at 14 months, she recognizes them all by herself. I think it's good that they don't tell you the name of the animals, she likes when I tell it to her. It gives us some good mother-daughter time together. She already can say goat, bear, sheep and Zoo. She imitates the Gorilla's everytime they come on and loves the Giraffe's and Tiger's. She has been to the Bronx Zoo and seemed to recognize all the animals. This video has helped my daughter just love animals. I would recommend this to anyone.

Summary: Lots of Zoo Fun
Review: My toddler grandson loves the San Diego Zoo video. This is a very calming video for an active little boy. He giggles and points at the animals and enjoys the pop-up characters. The beautiful classical music is also a treat for me. Baby Genius has done a wonderful job of capturing the gentleness of these animals.

Summary: Incredible!
Review: The very first time we put this video in, our two year old was hooked. And to tell you the truth, my husband and I were, too! Our son loves animals and these in the video are so active and seem to be having so much fun. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a child.
