Summary: Singing Babies on DVD is a hit in my home
Review: After seeing my twin 13-month-old girls sit in awe and actually try to vocalize along with the classic songs, I must say that I am a huge fan. This is the only DVD or video that we have where my kids will actually watch from beginning to end! This gives my husband and me time to clean, prepare dinner, shower, etc. Thank God for the auto repeat feature. We also got a kick out of the supplemental features, especially the funny outtakes of the babies being uncooperative. The DVD comes with the CD soundtrack, which is perfect for keeping my two little ones occupied in the car. They instantly recognize the songs from the DVD. It's amazing to see. Ultimately, I highly recommend this title. It's a super value, and one that I will be purchasing more of to stuff a few stockings this Christmas.

Review: Although my six month old daughter cannot speak. She gestures and vocalizes to let me know how much she loves this DVD. The babies appear to sing all the songs that I've known since childhood. I love seeing my girl so enchanted by this DVD that I don't feel guilty plopping her in front of the television so that I can get things done around the house. This is an attention grabber that every mom should have.

Summary: The "Read-Along" Feature Challenges My Five-Year-Old!
Review: Being a teacher, I am very selective about what my child is exposed to and the benefits derived. This DVD has taught my five-year-old the classic nursery rhymes, but now is challenging him to read with the Read-Along feature that puts the lyrics onscreen in large type...perfect for my young reader-in-training. He recognizes words and truly tries to follow along. The fact that he knows the lyrics gives him the ability to learn and recognize new words as he sings. This DVD is so beneficial that the librarian at my school now has "Singing Babies" in the school library. I even have a lesson plan around the DVD. Of all the DVDs and videos that I have amassed, I recommend this one wholeheartedly.

Review: Excellent DVD. Our 2 years baby is already humming rhymes like, Old McDonald.., 3 blind Mic...and heaps more....first thing he gets up in the morning.He knows all of the rhymes that are featured on it. We are surprised......really surprised.....we are absolutely delighted to own this DVD.....go for it without hesitation !!!!

Summary: A Family Affair!
Review: Had to convey how wonderful it is for my three children, ages 10 months, 3, and 5 to all sit quietly and watch a DVD. It never happens except with this one. There are advanced features for my oldest to read off the screen as he sings. My other two respond so strongly to the music that they watch it at least twice a day. We put the CD in the car and listen to that regularly as well. This is undoubtedly the best gift I have received for my children. Highly recommended.

Summary: Not for my daughter ...
Review: I bought both the "Singing Babies" and "Singing Toddlers" in preparation for a seven-hour drive to see grandma. Neither one held my 15-month-old daughter's attention long enough to get out of the driveway. She loves all the "Wiggles" DVDs and can't get enough of "Bear in the Big Blue House" on Disney. I don't think there's enough action to keep her attention.

Review: i have to say i found the superimposed moving mouths a little disconcerting but my twins loved, loved, loved to watch this dvd. i would definitely recommend it to anyone with babies up to 18 months.

So, after reading all of the positive reviews on this dvd and the other singing babies dvd, I purchased both. Not only was my daughter mesmerized, but my husband and I were as well. The babies actually look like they're singing. I love that they have chosen classic nursery rhymes to sing. I also like the fact that it comes with a cd of the songs so that we can listen to them in the car or her room. I'm glad I found these dvd's, they're fun and different and keep my daughter entertained.

Summary: My Baby Looooooooves this DVD!
Review: My six month old boy is so in love with this DVD that he loooooves it! He sits still for the whole show. That, for him, is unprecedented. Finally, a DVD that keeps him focused, alert, and happy. It must be the babies that appear to sing that holds his attention so, since music alone won't keep him sitting still. Other developmental DVDs have never held his interest, but this one does. I almost didn't buy this because of a negative online review here. Thank God I didn't go by the recommendation of a stranger. My baby thanks me every day.
