Rating: Summary: Wigglemania! Review: This is the best video yet! My 2 1/2 year son can't get enough of this energetic, fun loving, colorful group. We bought Wiggletime for his 2 year birthday in August and it ceases to amaze me he still watches that video like it's the first time he saw it except now he sings along and dances. When I saw Toot toot chugga chugga I saw a big advancement with the production. The sets are digital animation so it's extremely vivid. He loves it. So do all his buddies that come to play. I don't feel guilty putting it on because he gets so much out of it. We are in true Wigglemania!
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles Keep My Two Year Old Giggling and Wiggling Review: ...and this new release does more of the same. While some of the songs are recyled from previous videos, the performances are clever, fun, and perform the near miracle of keeping my little girl enchanted while not making her daddy want to throw blunt objects at the television after his 3713th viewing. The songs are catchy and not overly dorky, and the arrangements are fun. The Wiggles are more entertaining for me to watch than, say, the Teletubbies, whom I sincerely hope become roadkill, or Barney, who needs to have an industrial accident. But, my preferences aside, my daughter's eyes light up as soon as the Duck logo comes on at the beginning, and she keeps smiling all the way through. What more can you ask for from a children's video?
Rating: Summary: Another GREAT 'down under' masterpiece for the little ones! Review: My girls (2yrs & 5 yrs old) are hooked on the kid's sensation from down under! The Australian group called "THE WIGGLES". 4 Aussie men donned in their own colored shirts, ANTHONY, GREG, MURRAY and JEFF aim to please the wee folk - and do so! - with their great songs, both original Wiggles tunes and modified traditional tunes and their dances and skits. With fun characters such as Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus and several children all singing and dancing throughout the video. Parents will also be hooked on the great tunes and can even "Wiggle" with their kids and get into shape! A must for any kiddie video library!
Rating: Summary: Another winner from the Wiggles Review: Being an Australian, its hard not to be biased, but this is another great video from the Wiggles. My daughter loves them and will watch the whole video from start to end, which she doesn't always do with other music videos. There are a lot of great songs that we hadn't heard before on their CDs and just lots of fun for the little ones. Its one group that I can also watch over and over again - their songs don't get on my nerves like a lot of children's songs! The Wiggles are very popular in Australia and are becoming so in the US - their last concert in Minneapolis was sold out in the first 15 minutes! I can't recommend this video highly enough, even for the very young ones.
Rating: Summary: We love to dance to "Toot Toot" Review: My kids love the songs on this video. We like to refer to our Wiggles videos as Kiddie Aerobics because of all of the dancing our toddler and preschooler do while the video is playing. The songs are well written, catchy and best of all are meant to teach kids things they need to know.
Rating: Summary: What a terrific video!!! Review: This video gets better and better with each viewing. My little girl knows this video - "it's the one with Wags the Dog" - and she's right. Wags is featured quite often in this program, as are the dancers and the other characters. I must say, though, that the choreography in this video far exceeds some of the others Wiggles programs. There are great numbers of course, but the centerpiece of the show is that the Big Red Car is stuck in place and they need to find someone to fix it, so they ask Wags, and he can't, and they ask different others, but they can't, and finally, Captain Feathersword tries his luck, and fails and gets exhaust in his face.
Towards the end of the video, of course, there has to be a solution, and the "mechanic" is called, and he encourages the Wiggles that the Big Red Car "runs" on music, so they enlist the aid of everyone in the cast.
There are some really unique ensemble pieces, such as "Wags does the Tango," "Zardo's Dance," and a few other dance numbers which really make the video great. Then there's "Go Captain Feathersword Go," filmed outside, with the Captain and his crew on a pirate ship, and the other dancers on the dock.
This is a terrific video, and it's highly recommended for the whole family!!!
Rating: Summary: Great Wiggles DVD! Review: My daughter is only 14 months old and she is starting to imitate some of the dance moves on this DVD! I would recommend this DVD to anyone who has a child that loves the Wiggles. Beware though - some of the songs may get stuck in your head!
Rating: Summary: The BEST Wiggles DVD. Review: I don't much like the Wiggles. However, my daughter LOVES the Wiggles. She is 13 months old and started wiggling to the Wiggles at about 9 months. So as a dad who wants to keep his daughter happy, I bought a Wiggles DVD. The first one I bought, didn't have any songs that she recognized. So I searched and searched and found Toot Toot. This DVD contains 14 recognizable songs that my daughter has seen on the show. 18 songs total on the DVD. If your child loves the Wiggles TV show on Playhouse Disney, then this is the perfect DVD for you. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Great Wiggles Video Review: My 14-month old daughter adores the Wiggles and this is one of her favorites. It's non-stop music and dancing and holds her attention like nothing I have seen before...she actually will sit down and watch it. If she does stand up, it's do dance and clap to the songs.
Rating: Summary: What the Wiggles do best Review: Wall-to-wall song and dance, with lots of kids and the usual characters around. And a minimum of story to get in the way.
