Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I was first exposed to the Wiggles in Australia and my oldest daughter was enthralled. At the time, they were not available in the U.S. Now with the availability of the videos here - my youngest daughter is enjoying them as well. She sings to all of the songs, dances and requests the video. She LOVES Jeff and goes around saying "Wake up Jeff" to everyone she knows.
Rating: Summary: Love the Wiggles, but don't like this video Review: We have a 2-1/2 year old that absolutely adores the Wiggles. She has already learned alot about the world through previous videos (I think her first words were quack quack). We bought this video based upon other customer recommendations but were disappointed in the quality of the production. Whereas in previous videos (eg WiggleTime) there were plenty of painted sets this video is almost entirely bluescreened. The songs that aren't bluescreened are all in front of the exact same set which is basically a wherehouse painted three shades of green. At least I think it's green, its hard to tell because the colors are alot less vivid. Jeff's shirt looks grey and Anthony's shirt looks green. (and it's not the fault of our TV or VCR) It also seems like there are alot more songs without words. After viewing this video, my copy is for sale.
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles Are Awesome! & Toot Toot is the Best! Review: All I can say is that my whole family LOVES The Wiggles! The age range on the box says 3-8 but the biggest Wiggles fan is my one year old! He knows every dance move by heart even if he can't yet sing along! My four year old also really enjoys doing the dances on the video and my husband and I even find our selves singing the songs around the house. Two thumbs up for The Wiggles!
Rating: Summary: This is the one to buy! Review: This is the 3rd Wiggles tape we have purchased for my toddler (22 months). We play this particular one again and again and he never tires of it (and neither do my husband or I)! The music teaches my toddler lessons (e.g.looking both ways before crossing the street) while he is dancing or clapping to the addictive music. So if you're going to buy one Wiggles tape- this is the one!
Rating: Summary: A Fun, Educational Video for Toddlers Review: If your child has not yet been lucky enough to see the wiggles, this tape is a must have! I have a daughter who has loved the wiggles since she was about 18 months old. Their songs are fun and educational. My daughter loves to sing and dance along with the video. It's a nice break from Barney.
Rating: Summary: "I need Wiggles, Mommy!" Review: This is our first in what I'm sure will be many Wiggles videos. Our 2 1/2 year old daughter can't watch this often enough, and I can't say I blame her. After about her 50th viewing, she popped into the kitchen (between songs, of course) to tell me, "These Wiggles are really, really funny." While we love the video, too, our favorite activity is watching her try to imitate all the great dancing. Today I plan to take out the camcorder to record all of her funny new dance moves! There's no other video in our collection that compares to this one, and if you want your kid to get up and dance, this is a must have.
Rating: Summary: Toot Toot Red Car Review: I'm not sure why we ever brought this video in to the house, but my son (24 months) is absolutely obsessed with it. He requests it by name about 3 seconds in the door home from day care. My husband and I constantly have the catchy songs stuck in our heads. The adults, kids and characters in the video are happy and active, although my son barely blinks during his viewings. Bottom line, he loves it, the songs are positive and teach things like how to cross he street, and luckily there is more than one video by the Wiggles so we can get them and at least have some variety (i hope). The Wiggles are a huge fad right now with the 2-3 year old circuit here in Seattle. They have everything toddlers like:cars, food, animals, kids, singing, dancing, pirates, cowboys, aliens. I recommend this video to anyone with a two year old. I encourage you to try to get them to move around while watching the video. Sure you'll go a little crazy, but who with a toddler isn't?
Rating: Summary: Nice - but get Wiggle Time instead Review: The Wiggles - Wiggle Time is innovative and fun. This video, The Wiggles - Toot Toot, is sweet, and my 3 year old son likes the car, but I find it follows a more run of the mill formula for children. It has grander choreography, but feels less real. The Wiggles compose good music and have lovely voices, so this video is good to add a variety to your children's collection, but for pure enjoyment and audience participation (kiddie aerobics), stick to their video Wiggle Time.
Rating: Summary: Toot toot the best yet Review: When you're buying videos for the kids, you have to find something they like and that you won't mind seeing 4 times in one day. The Wiggles tapes are about the only things we've gotten that really fit the bill. Our 3-year-old loves them, our older kids dance to them, and we don't have to find the time to do a work-out video because we can dance along. Toot Toot is the best Wiggles video yet - the production values are more sophisticated, the choreography is crisper, and the songs are integrated into the overall video better. I'm not sure how to describe them to people who haven't seen them - it's like PeeWee's Playhouse, only really for kids. The actor/singers seem to really enjoy what they're doing, and their energy is infectious. And unlike a majority of kids' musical videos, the music is actually good.
Rating: Summary: A magical experience! Review: Toot Toot is one amazing show! I loved this video! It is full of fun songs, dancing, and joy. It truly is a rare magical treat. I have the other Wiggles videos and I like them all, but this one stands out above the rest due to the show quality choreography and the movie-like rhythm of each song. The short skits in between are very funny and flow perfectly with the story. It is like watching a really good movie, which makes you feel like a joyful kid again. If you are in a bad mood watching this video will surely cheer you up. My baby is only 5 months old, but she loves watching The Wiggles. I am 35 and I love it to, and so does my husband. The songs are very good and catchy. The only problem is they will sing in your head while you try to sleep at night. The dancing is spectacular! In fact, I advice you to throw away all your aerobics videos, and dance to The Wiggles moves in this tape instead. It is much better due to the shear fun factor and the variety of steps, most of which are high impact aerobics. The Wiggles have the formula perfected for childhood imagination, fun, song and dance! This is a wonderful video to sing and dance to and it will make you feel young, happy and carefree too. What could be better then that for a child, or for a child's parent for that matter? No home should be without this video. I hope The Wiggles are aroud for a very long time.
