Rating: Summary: Toot Toot Review: Something my children cant be without ! A must have. This is the only music I remember these days ..."Wags the Dog he loves to Tango !"
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles are the Greatest! Review: My boys absolutely adore the Wiggles, they have become a part of our day to day life. These videos are great, I highly recommend these or any other Wiggle videos to anyone whose children are interested! Very entertaining, and best of all, they are about the very most tolerable children's entertainment as far as the parents are concerned, too! :-)
Rating: Summary: Worth the price of admission Review: If your child is a Wiggles fan then these three tapes will make a great gift for them. There is a wide variety of songs among the three tapes. The dancing is upbeat and addictive for both child and adult alike. Simply put, it is worth the price I paid for it and that is the highest recommendation I can give anything I buy.
Rating: Summary: Another Wiggly Delight Review: My twins love the Wiggles. And as an adult, I can say that I like them as well. Although this is not their favorite tape of The Wiggles, there are some good songs on it that they love to dance to.
Rating: Summary: Smiling, Dancing and Imitating Review: After 2-month searching, I finally find the right program for my 16-month old daughter. She loves it from the beginning and watches it again and again. She smiles as soon as the Wiggles Logo comes on and dances right along with them. I haven't found any tapes that will keep my daughter's attention as well as the Wiggles can. Wiggles give us a lot of fun. It's the best investment in videos! If you want two videos, go for "Wiggle Time" and "Toot Toot".
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles have captured our hearts. Review: We are another family that has found the Wiggles to be a great addition to our video library. This set of videos are the best pure entertainment we have found for our 17 month old son. He enjoys the music and loves dancing with Wiggles. Best of all even my husband and I enjoy the upbeat music and lyrics. Our only complaint is that there aren't more titles available on DVD.
Rating: Summary: Confessions of an Adult Wiggles Fan Review: My only regret about discovering the Wiggles is that I did so AFTER they finished their west coast USA tour. As I watch snippets from their live shows on some of these videos, I'm near tears envisioning myself and my 2-year-old daughter dancing at the foot of the stage. In my fantasy, we are so engaging, the Wiggles pull us up on stage and proclaim us honorary Wiggles. Tears stream down my face, Wiggle Jeff parades little Julie around on the stage on his shoulders... Okay, so I'm a little kooky. But this team of four average looking grown men, blessed with facial expressions animated enough to make Jim Carey jealous, are worthy of adulation. The kid appeal is enormous: primary colors, simple but larger-than-life choreography, songs about everyday things like food and animals, and oversized animal puppets. The mesmerizing effect it has on Julie is convenient when I need her to be distracted, but even more fun is the look on her face when she finally picks up the dance moves to songs like "Hot Potato". She is delighted, and I'm ready to burst. I wish I could put a finger on why this is so successful. It's not like this is a new concept, but I don't recall being this passionate about The New Zoo Revue or Sigmund and the Sea Monsters. I guess the only way to describe it is "chemistry." Each Wiggle and puppet has their own endearing quality, which combined with all others, makes the experience magical. I'd love to know how it all came about. Did four college roommates consolidate their juvenile, drunken antics into a million dollar idea? Was there an open casting call, ala The Monkees, for four goofy guys? I guess I'll just have to wait for the E! Hollywood True Story to find out, although I hope the truth is too clean and boring for that genre.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely amazing! Review: The way my daughters eyes light up when she sees the Wiggles is unexplainable. She sings and dances with them every day-sometimes up to ten times a day!! We see her grow and talk more and more along with the videos that we have. We watch them on playhouse disney and then we have some videos also. She makes sure everyone knows who Jeff is when they come over. She wants everyone to help her wake up Jeff... They are very important people in our house. My daughter absolutely loves them. I rave to everyone with kids how great they are. My husband, my daughter and I cannot say enough about them!
Rating: Summary: This is the best of their videos Review: My daughter (1 yr old) has almost every Wiggle video and by far these are the best 3. If your child enjoy watching the series, they will like these tapes.
Rating: Summary: Go, Wiggles, Ahoy! Review: We love to listen to the Wiggles. The songs are great... fun, catchy, imaginative. Their CD's rank highly in our collection. Toot Toot! is no exception. We simply love it! Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with some aspects of the video. My son, who is two, loves it and wants to watch it over and over. So, obviously, he disagrees with me (but he's not writing this review). As a parent, I'm very careful about what my son watches... and this just makes it past the censor boards. Why? Because some of the special effects are visually irritating (Henry's Underwater Big Band)and I catch myself looking away to avoid that slightly motion-sick feeling. Also, I find the bigger-than-life explanatory style The Wiggles use a little patronizing, but, paradoxically, it is also humourous and endearing. Now that I've said that, I also have to say that I'm very thankful for the Wiggles and I will continue to let my son watch Toot Toot! when he requests it. Why? Because the music is great, The Wiggles are real people (rather than cartoons or purple replicas of prehistoric beasts), and I love having dancing male human role models for my boy. You gotta hand it to them... the Wiggles really can groove.
