Rating: Summary: Some of the Greatest Episodes on DVD Review: I was a fan of Power Rangers sense day one, so I'm pleased to see that they're putting some episodes on DVD. The first two episodes are the first with Tommy as the White Ranger (White Light: Parts 1/2). I was a little kid when these episodes came out and believe me I remember the craze. These episodes may not be the best to some out of the three Mighty Morphin seasons, but they are classics and no one can deny that. They didn't put an episode of Zeo on here which was suprising. They also didn't put an episode of Turbo on here which wasn't suprising. I enjoyed this season, but allot of people didn't so it's understandable. The next two episodes are the last two of Power Rangers in Space (Countdown to Destruction: Parts 1/2). I knew if they did put PRIS episodes on here it would be these two. They're awesome and that's all there is to it. The next episode is from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy where the Space and Galaxy Rangers team up to fight the Psycho Rangers. Out of the entire PRLG season this one was one of the best so no shocker that it was picked. The next episodes are where the Galaxy and Lightspeed Rangers team up to fight Trakeena (Trakeena's Revenge: Parts 1/2). I like the Galaxy Rangers, but the Lightspeed Rangers just weren't as good as the others, but if you're a fan of the PRLR season that's cool. They didn't put an episode of Time Force on here. I enjoyed Time Force more than Lightspeed Rescue, but once again it's understandable that nothing was picked from this season. For the last episode on this DVD they picked from Power Rangers Wild Force (Forever Red). All I got to say is, naturally. What Power Ranger fan doesn't like this episode? All ten Red Rangers together, come on! It would've been nice if they picked an episode from each season, but oh well! If you're a Power Ranger fan I'm sure you'll enjoy this DVD.
Rating: Summary: This is only the beginning....I hope Review: I was soo glad when I heard that this DVD was coming out. I am hoping that there have been enough sales, so we can all convince Disney to re-release all of the episodes, not just the new ones. For those of you who were fans from the beginning, like me, this DVD is the one to buy.
Rating: Summary: Power Rangers Forever!!!!! Review: I'm so excited that a DVD of the episodes of Power Rangers is coming out. FINALLY!! I have watched PR ever since it first aired in 1993,and I have loved it ever since! I wish that there would be boxed sets of every season! That would be a Power Rangers fan's dream, especially for me!! Anyway, thank you for making this DVD!!
Rating: Summary: Best Power Rangers episodes, I don't think so but stil great Review: It feels great to finally see a power rangers dvd. Bit of a shame though to see the same storyline happening over and over again. Its always got rangers from the fast helping the present rangers out. There are no DVD features unfortunately, not even a chapter index because the episodes are the chapters. The tenth anniversary poster though is really good. As for the episodes they are all good but i'm not sure if they are the best. Best episodes in this dVd have to be White Light and Countdown to Destrution. Rating: Summary: The ultimate episode collection... not quite Review: It was about high time that Disney had finally released Power Ranger episodes on DVD, rather than just the direct-to-VHS approach that it did when it had first bought the franchise (including the entire Saban video library) in August 2001. I was so excited when I heard that a DVD was coming out that had eight different episodes on it, and I decided to get a copy when it came out. THE EPISODES Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: White Light - Parts 1 & 2 ~ This 2-part episode is one of the better episodes of season two of MMPR. Lord Zedd sends down the Scarlet Sentinel, and the Power Rangers need more help to defeat the monster. Zordon and Alpha create a sixth Ranger - the White Ranger - to help defeat the Scarlet Sentinel. Entertaining, but it's not one of the best episodes. Power Rangers In Space: Countdown to Destruction - Parts 1 & 2 ~ This 2-part episode has been begging for a DVD release ever since it first premiered in 1998. The Space Rangers face massive armies as Astronema attacks the Earth, and the Rangers are nearly defeated. This episode is the pre-9/11 cut, so that the footage that was cut out is put back in. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy: To the Tenth Power ~ Trakeena discovers the five Psycho Ranger data cards and decides to reanimate them to attack the Galaxy Rangers. Then Andros arrives with the Space Rangers to help defeat them. One of the best episodes, although inclusion of 'The Power of Pink' and/or 'Protect the Quasar Saber' would've helped those who hadn't seen 'Lost Galaxy' before. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue: Trakeena's Revenge - Parts 1 & 2 ~ Trakeena comes back and plans to use stolen energy to take her revenge on the Rangers. Leo comes back with the Galaxy Rangers to help the Lightspeed Rangers defeat Trakeena, leading to predictable results. This episode doesn't deserve the DVD treatment, as 'Lightspeed' wasn't one of the better shows out there, and this episode is no exception. Power Rangers Wild Force: Forever Red ~ Five remaining Machine Empire generals have discovered Serpenterra buried on the surface of the moon. Cole must reunite with the rest of the Red Rangers (including Tommy and Jason) to help defeat the generals and save the Earth. Quick-paced episode has some annoying plot holes, unconvincing CGI effects, and an unsatisfying ending. A 2-part episode would've fared a lot better, but the episode is still good. Jason Narvy and Paul Schrier briefly reprise their roles as Bulk and Skull, and 3 PR alums voice three of the generals (Archie Kao, Catherine Sutherland, Walter St. Jones). OVERALL QUALITY: All the episodes are presented in their original 1.33:1 full-screen ratio. The picture quality for the episodes is excellent for the most part, save for some grain and specks in 'White Light' and 'Countdown to Destruction'. The audio quality is nearly perfect. Aside it from being a Dolby Digital 2.0 mix, the background sounds, music and dialogue come out quite nicely for a 2.0 mix. Aside from an English subtitle option and ads for the CD and the first two PRWF tapes, the extras here are nonexistent. And what's worst, the episodes don't have chapter stops in them, so that you can't access a particular scene, go to the second part of the episode (like in 'White Light'), skip the opening credits, or go to the ending credits - in order to do that, you have to fast forward through the episode. You have 2 ways you can watch the episodes - either you can watch all the episodes together in a movie-like format (here the episodes are chapters), or you can view them each separately. The DVD is the bare minimum: the episodes and nothing else. Also, Disney has failed to make even an animated menu for the DVD... the menu is basically the DVD cover. Aside from a neat collector's edition mini poster included with the DVD, there's no extras to peruse through on the DVD itself. And about 2 more episodes could've been added, such as 'The Power of Pink' and/or 'Protect the Quasar Saber' (considering the 158 minute running time), or a 2-disc set would be better. Overall, the audio and picture quality of all the episodes are good, and the mini-poster is a nice one, but I really would've appreciated some effort in the extras department. If you love any or all of these episodes (and have a DVD player), this DVD is a must. Just don't expect anything more.
Rating: Summary: THE ULTIMATE DVD FOR THE ULTIMATE EPISODES!!! Review: My opinion as to why these episodes were picked: White Light pt. 1 & 2- This one is an old fan favorite. It introduces Tommy as the White Ranger, with new powers, weapons, and zord. Tommy is, as quoted by TJ in Forever Red, "A Legend". First he came out as the perfect evil Green Ranger, who no one could defeat. He then turned good and fought Rita Repulsa. It has been rated # 9 at the top ten episodes list at [...] Countdown to Destruction pt. 1 & 2- This one is SOOOOOOOOO obviouse! This episode was the grand finale of not only Power Rangers in Space, but, the 6 year era of Zordon, 6 years worth of villains, all the active rangers, and most importanly, Zordon. He was the rangers' mentor for 6 years and was the greatest mentor they will ever have. He was trapped long ago in a Time Warp by Rita Repulsa. Now, all the UAOE is attacking to invade the universe for Dark Spector. Who was chosen to attack earth, why, non other than Astronema, Andros's long lost sister, brainwashed and turned evil. This dramatic, high action mini-series was a great pic to have on DVD! It has been rated #2 as the top 10 episodes list at [...]! To the Tenth Power- This one was one of the greatest teamups ever, the Space Rangers vs the Galaxy Rangers! With the return of the Psycho Rangers, and an episode with...TRAKEENA!!! This one is a favorite by many fans! 2 of the greatest seasons! Trakeena's Revenge pt. 1 & 2- This was released for a limited time on VHS at McDonalds. It was aired as a 2 part mini-series later on Fox Kids. It features the return of Trakeena, her new army of Goulds, a new villain...Triskull, the return of the Galaxy Rangers, and the current rangers and villains, etc. It is another fan favorite! Forever Red- This episode has been quoted by many fans as the greatest episode ever! It features the return of all red rangers!!!, The Machine Empire, Serpentura, Bulk and Skull, Alpha, The Astro Megaship, as well as many past references! In this episode the surviving members of the Machine Empire, lead by General Vengix, are on the moon digging up the remains of Serpentura, the most powerful zord ever built, with it they will have enough power to destroy earth, and avenge the defeat of King Mondo. It is up to all 10 red rangers (Jason (MMPR), Aurico (MMAR), Tommy (PRZ), TJ (PRT), Andros (PRiS), Leo (PRLG), Carter (PRLR), Wes (PRTF), Eric (PRTF), and Cole (PRWF) to defeat General Vengix before he and his army dig up Serpentura! This episode was the 10th Anniversuary special. It was a perfect choice to have on DVD!!! It has been rated #3 on the top ten episodes list at [...]!
Rating: Summary: Not the best of the Power Rangers Review: Ok, the following episodes of Power Rangers are on this DVD:- Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers "White Light(Parts 1 & 2)" Power Rangers in Space "Countdown to Destruction(Parts 1 & 2)" Power Rangers Lost Galaxy "To The Tenth Power" Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue "Trakeena's Revenge(Parts 1 & 2)" Power Rangers Wild Force "Forever Red" Pretty disappointing selection. First of all I think they could have had more episodes with this package. Here's what I think of what they have chosen- White Light (Parts 1 & 2)- When this episode came out it was a major episode because it introduced the White Ranger so it is quite understandable that it would be chosen for this selection. Countdown To Destruction (Parts 1 & 2)- Simply the main reason to buy this DVD. It is the best two Power Rangers episodes ever made. It is quite epic in scope and featured the pivotal destruction of Zordon who originated the Power Rangers. To The Tenth Power- Great choice again and one of the best crossover events in Power Rangers. Trakeena's Revenge (Parts 1 & 2)- Lightspeed Rescue was probably the weakest Power Rangers series, and this is one of the best episodes of that series. Nice to see a crossover with the Lost Galaxy Power Rangers but it just doesn't live up to its potential. Still, not a bad choice. Forever Red- The amazing episode that featured various Red Rangers teaming up together. Now as you can see I've pretty much complimented every episode on the DVD. But my problem isn't with the episodes they have, it's with what they don't have. There also should have been an episode from each series- where are Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Time Force? Another plus would have been to have the very first episode of Ninja Storm. They call this the Best of the Power Rangers, yet they forget to include some of the best episodes such as Ninja Quest (Parts 1, 2, 3 & 4) from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, as well as the final four episodes of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy and the opening and final episodes of Power Rangers Time Force. That's why I'm disappointed with this DVD. It probably won't happen, but here's hoping they have a volume 2, or start to bring out the entire series in boxsets.
Rating: Summary: I love this DVD Review: Out of all the DVD's that were released I have to say this is the best one ever! The dvd is put together with a bunch of great episodes that is not shown on Tv . This dvd includes:
The White Light Pt. 1 and 2 (combined and made into one episode)
This episode is based on the creation of the white ranger and how the mighty morphing power rangers have to face Lord Zedds evil and are nearly taken down, when the new white ranger comes to the rescue.
Countdown To Destruction Pt.1 and 2 (Again Combined and made into one episode)
This episode is the finale of the Power Rangers In Space. It's about Darkspecter summoning all the evil forces of Rita, Machine Empire, Divatox and any other past evil the power rangers have fought to attack the whole universe. The fate of the universe is in the hands of the Power Rangers In Space.

Those were the basic Descriptions of each episode. I apologize if some descriptions are unclear. I personally love every single episode on this DVD and you wont be disappointed. I recommend you to get this dvd if you are a fan of Power Rangers.
This DVD comes with a nice Forever Red Poster with all of the red rangers standing side by side in the setting of the moon's surface. On the back a picture of each individual red ranger is shown with their human name underneath it. The DVD also comes with an Extra card showing the 5 random rangers that is on the cover and on the back of the card it includes the titles of each episode.
You Also get to view Previews of other DVD's that are already out or ones that are going to be released.
Rating: Summary: Power Rangers....an amazing show! Review: Power Rangers is an amazing show, and has affected many people in very positive ways. Now that many of the original power ranger viewers are entering young adulthood, and taking their love for the power rangers with them, I'm sure this show will only grow bigger in popularity. Their are many good episode choices in this DVD including 'countdown to destruction' and definitly 'Forever Red'. While the dvd is low on extras it is still a pretty good DVD. I highly recommend it! (I obviously love the show.)
Rating: Summary: Bad Choice of Episodes!! Review: This has to be the worst chose of episodes, EVER!!! I mean, they should have had Power Rangers Zeo episodes on here like "A Zeo Beginning Part 1" and "A Zeo Beginning Part 2" on the DVD. I mean, come on!!! They should have had some epic episodes from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers like: "Big Sisters" and "Power Ranger Punks." They really should have had the epic only once unaired pilot of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. I mean, it's the Ultimate DVD, it should have the ultimate episodes, right??
