Rating: Summary: "Wiggle, Wiggle" Review: My 19 month old son LOVES this DVD and wants to watch it over and over. He lets us know when he wants to watch it by saying "Wiggle, Wiggle" and dancing all around. Top of the Tots may be a bit different from some of the other Wiggles DVDs, but it still has great, catchy songs. Also, the DVD includes songs that are educational - about going to the denist and doctor, eating healthy foods (lett-uc-e sing...) and even cooking. In the bonus features you can watch the Wiggles out of character working on the next DVD. The best part is seeing my son so happy dancing and singing. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Top of the tots is Top with my tot!! Review: My 2 year old son loves the wiggles and loves this DVD. The music is catchy and easy for my son to dance and sing to sing along with. The wiggles are excellent entertainers and relate to young children without seeming to be talking down to them. If you are looking for entertainment for your child that is fun, entertaining and rewarding for them, try the wiggles.
Rating: Summary: OK, loved by toddler Review: My 22 month old Timmy just loves this movie! Perhaps it is because it's the only Wiggles movie we have. He will sit and watch it from the time it starts to the time it stops (which, for him, only happens with the Wiggles and Winnie the Pooh). I'm disappointed in its dancing. Timmy loves to dance with the wiggles. He can do 'Hot Potato' and all the other old songs like a pro. I had hoped I'd get a movie that he could dance to. But in this movie the main 4 don't dance (only the 'wiggly dancers'). Still, I like that it has songs about going to the doctor and brushing his teeth. Those are good things for a toddler to learn. He brushes his teeth much better now!
Rating: Summary: Introduction to the Working World and Tribute to New York Review: My 3 year old daughter, a huge Wiggles fan, loves this video. We purchased it less than a week ago, and she has asked to watch it nearly every day. The songs are catchy, and after just the first viewing, she was already starting to sing along. One of the best parts of this video was that The Wiggles explored several avenues of the work force. There were interviews with a doctor, a dentist, and a swimmer, and a NY firefighter talked about the gear that he wears and his job, which was one of my daughter's favorite parts. There was also a performance by an airline pilot and his passengers and crew. While there are dances, many of them are performed by The Wiggly dancers, instead of just The Wiggles themselves, but the dances are all great and have the potential of getting your child involved. This video also incorporates more scenic views, and footage of the outside world, rather than focusing primarily on dancing. I felt like this was more of an educational video almost (which is not really a bad thing), but it was also packed with a whole lot of fun. If you're new to The Wiggles, I would suggest perhaps viewing one or several of their earlier tapes first. If you're looking for a video about the working world, this is a great choice.
Rating: Summary: Not a toe tapper... Review: My daughter has pretty much all of The Wiggle's DVD's that are available and loves to dance and sing to them all except this one, which we both found to be less than exciting. I found the songs to be slow and quite frankly, boring and it appears that my daughter feels the same way. If you love The Wiggle's tv show, then I would highly recommend Toot Toot instead. Classic favorites, upbeat happy tunes, one after another (including Zardo Zap which is our favorite!)
Rating: Summary: Great DVD! Review: My daughter is 18 months old and REALLY likes this video. I personally enjoy the songs on this DVD a lot too. They're very catchy.:-) The Wiggles themselves don't do a lot of dancing, they seem to leave that up to their dancers. It doesn't seem to bother my daughter though. She still enjoys it a lot!
Rating: Summary: Top of the Tots -- The Wiggles Review: My daugter absolutely loves "The Wiggles" after seeing this video. I would absolutely recommend this to any parent who has a child over 14 months. This is the best video we have. My daughter actually "sings" part of the the songs (the chorus). We're going on vacation next week and I'm bringing my laptop so I can play this DVD to keep her occupied for at least an hour.
Rating: Summary: Not Tops with my Tots Review: My kids, ages 3 and 17 months, are not thrilled with this release. It may just be a personal preference, but they don't sing and dance around with this video as they do with former videos like Yummy, Yummy (their favorite) and Toot, Toot. I guess they want less talk and more singing and dancing! Personally, I didn't feel the bandstand theme was played out as strongly as some of the other themes the Wiggles have come up with. For example, in Toot, Toot they keep coming back to the big red car in between performances. In Top of the Tots, sometimes Anthony is taking us via satellite somewhere, sometimes kids are just sitting around with the Wiggles in a studio as an intro to the next "act", etc., For my kids sake, think they would've liked it more if the lead-in to each song was more consistent (repetitive). The way it was done seemed choppy. Of course, all this said, we will still be eagerly looking forward to the next video!
Rating: Summary: Top of the Tots is tops with us! Review: My son really enjoys The Wiggles. He received this dvd as a birthday gift and is very happy with it. We like the dancers and the songs are more educational than past releases. If your child likes the "Lights Camera Action" show and "Wiggle Bay" I think it's a safe bet that they will like "Top of the Tots".
Rating: Summary: Happy Wiggling! Review: My two year old loves this video! The songs and dances are great, and I am so pleased to see the REAL Wiggles again (their last video Space Dancing was animated). Two wiggly thumbs up!
