Summary: quiet ride
Review: Our video tape of this was worn out so we got the DVD in anticipation of a long airplane ride (coast to coast). This got us through with a minimum of discomfort. We also got 2 other DVDs, but this was the favorite. Of all the Wiggles DVDs or Videos, this remains his all time fave, from 4 months old to now (19 mo).
If you aren't familiar with the Wiggles, they're very active and geared for the preschool set. Yet, my husband and I often find things to laugh at as we watch with our little one. The music in this one is at a faster pace than some of the older ones. The choreography is better too.

Summary: The Wiggles Do It Once Again!
Review: I think "Yummy Yummy" was a great video!
Most of the songs are fast paced, and ready to dance to.
Most of the reviews here say the Wiggle puppets are scary, but I would not put it that way! They are funny, and have high-pitched voices, ;)
Best of all, you learn how to make Fruit Salad!

Summary: Hmm...
Review: Having never seen the Wiggles until introduced to them by a friend with a one year old daughter, I don't quite know what to say about them. However, my first exposure to these blokes was the song "Point Your Fingers and Do the Twist". This particular segment is frightening indeed, and is about the closest thing to an acid trip that I've ever experienced. From the psychedelic background, the creepy helium-voiced puppets, and random appearences from a crap, a dinosaur, some fish, a pirate, and some fruit salad, I don't really know what to think about this. Additionally, the song has a tendency to get stuck in your head for about 3 weeks straight, so watch at your own risk.

Despite my misgivings about this video, the baby absolutely adores it and smiles and dances when it is played. So I suppose it can't be that bad, right? :D

Summary: What's up with the puppets?
Review: We LOVE the Wiggles, but the puppets are strange-looking and take up too much time in this DVD. If I owned the video instead, I'd have this large section edited out!

Summary: A delight for toddlers
Review: My son has been a Wiggles fan since he was just under a year old. The songs are catchy and not preachy, and it seems as though the older videos, such as this one, appeal to the younger children the most. The ones that are being made more recently, i.e. "Wiggly Adventure", are more movie-like and have less song and dance sequences which hold the tot's attention. This is an excellent video to watch on a rainy day with 1-5 year olds!

Summary: Don't buy this if you watch the Wiggles on Disney Channel
Review: If you watch the Wiggles on the Disney channel, essentially, Yummy Yummy is one of the main videos from which they select their clips. It wasn't very interesting for my son who just loves these guys. The video itself is fine, but it's boring to watch the same clips over and over again once he's already seen them repeated so many times on Disney. Disney needs to get it together on their programming of the Wiggles, no doubt there. But, it's nice to have this if you're just addicted to some of the particular songs. Personally, I think the puppets on this thing are very scary and weird looking. I don't see the purpose in them and since these guys are so talented anyway, why bother? Toot Toot is by far their best video and I wish more of them were like that one.

Summary: GREAT
Review: There isnt much I can say except the Wiggles are a good, educational source of information for my son. He loves them - loves to dance to the songs (he imitates them very well) and has a few words down too! They teach morals, manners and other little things in a fun way. Love 'em!

Summary: Nowhere near as good as the TV show
Review: I bought this DVD hoping it would be just like the TV show on Disney Channel, which my 23-month-old adores and begs to watch every day. It's NOT. This is sort of the low-budget, music only version. It also has these puppets which SCARE MY SON. I have to jump past the puppet songs when he's watching it. Why can't they put out a video that's just like watching the TV show?

Summary: Fabulous!!
Review: My daughter is 15 months old, and when she started watching The Wiggles on the Disney Channel, I decided to buy a video of our own. We both absolutely love it! There isn't much dialogue so it keeps her attention very well. She loves dancing to all the songs. We watch it at least twice a day!

Summary: Scary Puppets
Review: We just opened our DVD last night, having forgotten about the comments regarding the puppets. But I knew exactly what was going on when our 23month old son who LOVES the Wiggles came rushing to me. Those dolls are freaky and they're in a couple of scenes, so I couldn't leave the room for too long before I heard the whimpering from my son again. Now I'm on a quest to figure out how to edit out the scary puppets from the DVD, because he really does enjoy the Wiggles emensely. But I have to say, this has put a damper on our "Yummy Yummy" experience.
