Summary: Most Of This Movie, Has Its Episodes From 1998.
Review: I'm ready to explain my own thought about Yummy, Yummy-tonight. The DVD movie reminds me of The Wiggles (1998) episodes, on Playhouse Disney. Most songs in the music video DVD, are called, (Hot Potato), D.O.R.O.T.H.Y. (Dorothy the Dinosaur), (I Am A Dancer), and of course, (Fruit Salad).

These two puppets in the versions of (Can You Point Your Fingers And Do The Twist), (Go, Captain Feathersword, Ahoy!) are a little weird but okay...either way, I do love it.

Summary: The best...
Review: This is the first Wiggles DVD we bought and so far it is the one we like best. The songs have a good beat so the kids really enjoy dancing to them. They are also easy for them to memorize. When I recommend the Wiggles to people this is always the DVD I tell them to start their collection with.

Summary: They've Made Better!!
Review: This is my and my son's least favorite Wiggles video. It's slower moving then the rest of their high energy videos.Unlike the others that he sits or dances through in their entirety, he lost interest quickly with this one. Also - portions of the video that have the Wiggles as PaperMaiche dolls with big eyes (creepy looking) singing superfast send my 2 year old screaming for me!!

Summary: Yummy Yummy ... Yuck!
Review: While I must admit my 2 year old loves this video, I find it one of the most annoying Wiggles videos ever! I bought this one as my first Wiggles purchase because it has many of my son's favorite songs, but was very disappointed. The puppets are annoying at best, and several of my sons friends find them downright scary. The "techno-wiggle" song section is very out of place on a toddler video, and if my son would let me, I'd skip it every time. There are many better Wiggles videos out there, and if given the choice, I'd pass on "Yummy Yummy". Check out "Wiggle Time" if you want classic Wiggle songs.

Summary: Parents can enjoy this one!
Review: My son is almost 2, we have 4 of the Wiggles dvd's and this one is the most popular. I even enjoy it, my older kids don't make fun of The Wiggles like they do some of the other "baby" shows as they call them. This one is worth every cent. I am oline today ordering 3 other titles by The Wiggles.

Summary: not as original
Review: My 2 year old and I love the Wiggles. Couldn't wait to get a DVD , so we can replay faster and easier. Unfortunately, I can't stand this 'yummy, yummy' DVD. What I love about the wiggles is its uncomplicated, unpolished setting and sounds. There are no high tech tricks, no lip sync-ing and you feel as if you are in the same space as the Wiggles. Not this DVD. The sounds are un-natural and the settings more contrived. Buy 'Wake up Jeff' instead!

Summary: Yeah for Yummy Yummy
Review: My 2 year old loves this video. She enjoys the puppets and is not scared at all of them. This by far is one of her favorites. Some of the videos, such as Dance Party, and Wake Up Jeff are not filled with songs like this one. This tape is full of songs, and is very upbeat and fast paced. The songs on this one are very easy for her to remember and recite.

Summary: Beware of the Puppets
Review: My 20 month-old daugther just loves most of this DVD. She smiles and even dances along with The Wiggles.

Like all the other reviewers, I have to comment about the puppets. SCARY! And unflattering. The voices of the puppets are high-pitched and plain annoying. I would have must prefered "Go, Captain Feathersword, Go" and "Can You Point Your Fingers" as performed on The Wiggles television show by the real Wiggles.

Another point that my daughter and I are not crazy about is the Greg the Magician segment. On the television series, these segments are short, sweet, and with another Wiggle. However, Greg the Magician alone is boring.

Finally, I wished this DVD had open-captioned like other Wiggles DVDs. After all, the beauty of open caption was the foremost reason our family converted from VHS to DVDs.

In summary, the three segments without puppets and magic are fantastic. The rest of the segments -- you would wish they would just disappear.

Summary: Not worth your money
Review: I bought two DVD's for my 2-yr old son. However, I am extremely unhappy about the play time of these DVDs. It is too short with a lot of advertisements and stupid puppet shows and very little time dedicated to the real Wiggles. They are not worth the money you spend on these videos and I would not pay more that $... each for these videos.

Summary: Songs are good --puppets scary!
Review: My 6 year old (who is afraid of clowns )did not like the puppets with the high voices. He was really afraid of them so we gave the DVD away. Next time I will check to see if the puppets are in the next one I buy. They could of at least used the Wiggles' real voices. A bit creepy I must say!
