Rating: Summary: These Guy's are soooooooooooooooo good. Review: I had never heard of the Wiggles before my daughter was given a DVD as a gift, now we hear them every day in life and I find I am singing and dancing along also. We now own many of there DVD, C.D's. This is one of there best I think and I am sure my daughter would agree with me. Don't think about buying this DVD, just do it and you won't have any regrets. They are great.
Rating: Summary: Our First Wiggles DVD Review: This is our first Wiggles DVD and it still gets a lot of play. Very entertaining from start to finish, although the puppets used in two of the song segments are very goofy looking. My 2 year old does not mind, so there is no need to skip them. I must say I like the amped up version of "Can you point your fingers and do the twist" more than the original, slower by comparison, version. We are not sure the role of Paul the cook other than to mug the camera, they should have put Feathersword as the cook!
Rating: Summary: Great DVD Review: My 15month old daughter loves this DVD.. she knows all the dance steps to every song.. she wakes up in the morning and first thing she wants to do is dance to the wiggles.. I recommend this to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Yummy Rules Review: This video is a hit with kids from 15 months to 5 years old. We have an 18 month old who gets up and dances anytime the tape is on. Tbe video is part of our nighttime ritual, and is a savior on rainy or fussy days. I have yet to meet a child who doesn't enjoy the Wiggles.
Rating: Summary: mostly good wiggles stuff as per usual but.... Review: I Bought this for my son(20 months)who adores the wiggles, wags, henry, etc. I was in dire need for some new wiggles entertainment, Both Wiggly party, wiggly bay (great Videos buy the way) had become old hat. S0... I purchases Yummy Yummmy. Great performances by Greg, Murry, Anthony, and Jeff when they were on, but WHAT IS UP WITH THOSE BIZZARE PUPPETS SEEN ON THE VIDEO FOR MORE THAN HALF OF THE RUNNING TIME? I could understand maybe for one short song, if I knew the bizzaro puppets were on the video that much I would have used my money for barney:)!
Rating: Summary: Yummy, Yummy is made up of 1998 Wiggles Episodes. Review: I do love this DVD of Yummy, Yummy but it doesn't have any type of Bonus Features-like (Subtitles for the hearing impaired), (Sing Along with The Wiggles) and (Photo Gallery).Yummy, Yummy reminds me of The Wiggles 1998 episodes, because I see them all the time on Playhouse Disney. It was also first made in early 1994...then remade in 1998 and "Hot Potato", "D.O.R.O.T.H.Y. (My Favorite Dinosaur)" and "Fruit Salad" had always been sung by The Wiggles ever since.
Rating: Summary: New to the Wiggles? Start with THIS one! Review: Parents: If you're new to the Wiggles phenomenon and are considering which Wiggles video to introduce to your toddler, this is the one with all the early hits, and, as the parent of a 2-1/2-year-old Wiggles fan, I recommend you begin with this one. Notably, it features "Hot Potato" and introduces the four major Wiggles friends with the costumes your child will be most familiar with from the Playhouse Disney series. Other "beginner" Wiggles videos to consider: "TOOT TOOT," "WAKE UP, JEFF" AND "WIGGLE TIME." (Skip "Dance Party.") Once your child "masters" these videos -- that is, once YOU tire of them! -- then start checking out the newer titles, "HOOP DEE DOO" and "WIGGLY SAFARI," which are better appreciated when your child is more thoroughly familiar with the Wiggles world and tunes.
Rating: Summary: Great Buy! Review: I read some of the reviews and decided to give this DVD a try...Let me say that this was a great buy for my toddler. She loves it so much! I started out with the CD, then the Show and now I am trying to collect all their DVD. They taught her words, dances and the joys of music. I just want to buy it for all my friends to give to their toddlers.
Rating: Summary: Who the heck invented these evil puppets? Review: My daughter loves the Wiggles. She also seems to enjoy this video. But I must say that the paper mache puppets on this video scare the...whole family!
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles are my heros! Review: My son loves the Wiggles, which means I love the Wiggles! When he's tired, cranky, or needy and NOTHING I do will make him happy, all I have to do is pop this tape in and he's mesmerized, giving me much needed time to eat, get his lunch ready, or even go to the bathroom in private. He is 11 months old now but has loved this tape since he was 6 months. (I believe the age rating is 1 year and older, but it is definitely great for younger children.) I should mention that the Wiggles TV show doesn't keep his concentration since there's much more talking, where Yummy Yummy is song after song. We have several Wiggles tapes/DVDs and this is tied for his favorite along with "Toot Toot." I admit that the Wiggle puppets are a bit freaky looking, but they're fun, too - and he really likes them! The only part of the tape that he doesn't care for is when Greg does some magic. I'm sure it's okay for toddlers, but there's no music so my son ignores it. I end up fast forwarding through it to the next song, which makes me wish they had put it at the end of the tape instead of the middle. But that's my only complaint, otherwise Yummy Yummy rocks and I highly recommend it!
