Rating: Summary: Not Their Best but Well Worth the Money Review: It's not as good as the other one (the puppets are kind of yucky. My 2 1/2 year old really likes anything "Wiggles", and this tape is still better than any Barney tape
Rating: Summary: If you have a pre-schooler, they will wiggle! Review: I am a family daycare provider, and discovered these videos through one of my daycare families. They are wonderful; the kids ask for them as soon as they walk through the door in the morning! They are a colorful, fast paced, dance-able romp through a variety of kids' songs. They are like Barney and Raffi all rolled into one. I highly recommend them if you have toddlers through kindergarteners; they all love The Wiggles!
Rating: Summary: Mother of 2&1/2 year old Review: My daughter really likes the wiggles. She hasn't stopped watching them since we've recieved the tape. I personally like them because of the focus on excercize. I like how the moves are easy enough for a small child to follow, yet vigorous enough for me to get some thing out of it. It's a great way to spend time with your kids and excercize too! However; there are a couple things I don't care for in this particular video. I don't think the Hebrew song is very fitting and I could defenatly do without the puppets. They don't scare my daughter , but she's not particularly interested in them. I personally think they are hidiuos! Overall I really liked the film. There is some very good material in it. My only strong suggestion would be: If your going to be releasing more Wiggles videos in the future leave the puppets out!
Rating: Summary: Great, Happy Fun for Young Children! Review: "The Wiggles" are the best thing that's happened to children's music...maybe ever! If you're looking for sophisticated special-effects or elaborate sets, look elsewhere. But, if you're looking for truly good, fun music by four happy guys who never speak down to children, but give them role models to look up to, then by all means, buy this tape! The songs are really catchy and parents might find themselves joining their children in the Wiggle dances!
Rating: Summary: The Puppets are too scary Review: Everytime my 2 year old sees the puppets in this video, he asks that the video be turned off because he says they are too scary. But he likes other portions of the video, especially the Monkey dance and the Fruit Salad songs where he actually dances to the rythyms.
Rating: Summary: lots of fun for your little one Review: I also purchased this tape because of the Barney advertisement. My 20 month old loves this video. We dance to the whole tape, it is fun, and good exercise for both of us. Her favorite song is the "Hammer Song", it is really cute to watch her dance and have such a fun time. We also love the puppets, they do not scare her at all, she even giggles when they appear. I also purchased Wiggle Time. At first I didn't like it, but I have to admit, it kind of grew on me too. Both videos are great. Of the two, Yummy Yummy is the favorie at our house.
Rating: Summary: Better Than Wiggle-Time! Review: Another great hit for both my daughters, age 2 1/2 and 9 mos. They can't watch it enough. I'm sure i'll buy another tape when this one wears out! Worth every Dollar! All the Rota Girls Love it......even mum.
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles - Yummy Yummy Review: Highly recommended! No violence, no evil characters, no scary scenes, and not peppered with words that you have to ask your children not to use! Kids absolutely love this video, and as an added bonus, it's not even irratating to adults!
Rating: Summary: Good Clean "Yummy" Fun! Review: I think my mother said it best when she said, "They certainly don't have the budget that Barney does do they?" From the adult point of view, it's low budget and pretty lame. The four-year-old's point of view is quite different! My daughter absolutely loves this video! We've watched it everyday since we received it in the mail. She loves the music, the dancing and the characters! Everytime someone comes over, she breaks it out. The moral: Who cares what the adults think, as long as the kids like it!
Rating: Summary: a god send! Review: It is not often I can find a video that will entertain all three of my children, until now. I have a 6 year old daughter, a 3 year old son and a 6 month old daughter and every time I put this video in I can count on smiles all around. My older children dance and sing to it while the baby happily watches them and the video. I will definately be adding more movies from the wiggles to my collection. Oh, and don't be suprised when you find yourself humming fruit salad - yummy yummy late at night when you are trying to go to sleep!
