Summary: Best Education Videos For babies!
Review: Love, Love , Love this videos...We own all the videos by Baby Einstein and I highly recommend them. Why you ask? What other program covers Language, Poetry, music and art in the way babies at least mine and my friends can understand! As adults we need to remember that these videos are directed for the infant to toddler and yes some of the videos might not look like much with a ball rolling across your tv screen set to the tunes of mozart but it has a real affect on my child. If he is in another room and I put the Bach video in he knows just by the music. He laughs and trys to talk to the characters. These videos keep my son focused, calm, excited depending on which video we put in. It gives me the oportunity to sit and review with my son the pictures, words so I can interact with him. I have also purchased the flash cards that go with the videos and it helps reinforce real life images. The only thing I wish is that the videos were longer than 30min. Before deciding not to enrich your childs education, go to www.babyeinstein.com and read up on there method and why they made these videos. These video were created by a Mother. Honestly....Open your mind to diffrent tools of education and your child will prosper.

I also recommend looking in to: So Smart baby videos, Brainy Baby videos and baby Gourmet. All are Great VIDEOS!!!!!!!

Summary: Hey, I liked it
Review: This was the first baby einstein video we ever watched. I think we got it when my son was about 3 months old. He loved it then and at a year old he loves it now. The idea is to introduce your small baby to the sounds of different languages, not to actually teach them the language. It is more just to familiarize them with the sounds and cadence of other languages so they have some exposure to them. I find the images relaxing and mesmerizing. This might not be good to start an older child on but for little ones it's great!

Summary: Please skip this one!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I chose language nursery to introduce my baby to the einstein tapes. What a bad choice. Who knows what they are saying? The visuals are boring at best, the music is the only thing keeping you awake. My baby hated this from the start. Yet, I did not lose hope and I bought baby Mozart and bingo!! She likes the Mozart much much better and so do I.

Summary: weird one in otherwise GREAT series!
Review: I love the Baby Einstein DVDs and have all except Bach and Shakespeare. My daughter and neighbor's son (both from multi-lingual homes) do not like this particular DVD and I admit, I find it strange and out of place in an otherwise great series. For multilingual exposure - go elsewhere. The rest of the DVDs are great, especially World Animals and Baby Newton.

Summary: I think they got lazy with this one....
Review: so i read INSIDE.....yeah, the other products you can buy and an index for everything shown...but still NO traslations or explinations on what were listening to!

there is no "subtitle" choice, so if your kid says "mommy, what is she saying?" you'll have a blank look on your face! they sound like fun lil' rhymes in diffrent languages but something called "Numi,Numi" in hebrew, is not gonna tell me what its about.
i kinda feel like a baby with NO clue on what i'm listening to....so unless you know all the languages listed and you know all the words (no sing-along option)...then pass on this!

*and like all the other reviews, baby einstein like the "classical" masters and galileo are GREAT...i got this dvd because my baby is advancing, so i was surprised HOW weak it is compared to the others!

Summary: SKIP THIS ONE...Buy the others
Review: When my daughter (now 13 months old) was 2 months old, I bought the 10 pack of Baby Einstein videos. They've been great - its the only way to get a 30 minute break in the day and she loves them with the exception of this one. She can't watch more than 30 seconds of it without being bored and crawling away. And I can't say I blame her - it speaks in other languages, but doesn't translate, there's no way of knowing what language is being spoken at what time or what they are saying. If its confusing to an adult, what baby would get any value from it? The other Baby Einstein videos are ingenious, and I HIGHLY recommend them for fun and for learning. But skip this one unless your baby is interested in nonsense.

Summary: Single parents dream
Review: I'm a single parent of a ten month old boy. If I put on this video I can take a shower. I must admit I can see my son while I'm showering so I know he is just sitting there watching. When I'm done I can talk to him about the pictures and maybe even sing along. I wish Baby Einstein would provide the words to the songs so I can learn them too.

Summary: Really captures attention!
Review: My 5 month old daughter received this DVD for the holidays. At first I had read the other reviews saying it was difficult to know what they were talking about....WEll...if you look INSIDE the case at the insert...it tells you what is what. I love the "flash cards" what's more is the voices aren't too much. Different women for different languages...it's fantastic. German, Hebrew, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, English...unless you're a multi-lingual home...when is your kid going to be exposed? Get this video and expand your child's mind!!

Summary: Baby Einstein DVD's are wonderful!
Review: I received "Baby Einstein" on VHS when I was pregnant with our 2nd baby. I had never gotten into this series with my first baby and now I wonder how I got this far without them! Since receiving "Baby Einstein", we have purchased six more from the series and our son loves them all. His favorites are this one, Baby Galileo and Neighboorhood Animals. Thanks to Julie Clark for developing these great videos!!!

Summary: Not good for us!
Review: We have 8 Baby Einstein series VHS tapes and this is the only one that my son doesn't like. He usually stays glued to the TV when the other videos are playing, but with this one he's off to play in 30 seconds. It doesn't hold his attention at all.
