Summary: Thumbs way down!
Review: ...My 2-year-old loves animals and music, and this piece of work can't hold her still for 5 minutes. I swear I had MUCH more fun watching 'Babe' for the 37th time than ANY 5 minutes in this DVD.
Bottom line, if your kid loves Cedarmont Kids, Babe, Homeward Bound, Toy Story 1/2, Monsters Inc. etc....STAY AWAY FROM THIS DVD, unless you need help falling asleep.

Summary: Cute Enough
Review: Although the lamb on the push cart seems a little strange to ME, the Teletubbies are not geared for MY entertainment, and the little person in our house who loves to watch them doesn't mind in the least. :)

The fact that many different types of baby animals are shown in this DVD is wonderful. And bonus segments allow for even more exposure to more baby animals, which is terrific.

All in all, this is a great DVD and my daughter enjoys it thoroughly. If you like animals, you'll definitely enjoy this, too.

Summary: Daughters favorit
Review: Following the recommendations of others on Amazon.com, I bought this movie for my 7 month old daughter. She was instantly happy looking it. It was the first time we could see her sitting quiet for longer then 5 minutes. In fact she watched often a half hour, faszinated. Now she is 9 months and likes to dance with the Teletubbies. We do not agree with too much TV for children. But a kid who normally is very activ can learn to sit down a while and concentrate to one thing. And we parents have sometimes all hands full with work and its fine to have some minutes free of kids. And DVD is better than TV, because there are no commercials or violent cartoons coming over your kids.

Summary: Teletubbies...love them or hate them...
Review: I am not an advocate of television for children...and I was one of those moms who said "I will NEVER let my son watch Barney or the Teletubbies!" Although Jaden has yet to see Barney, he has seen the Teletubbies. One day my mom let him watch it and he sat there mystified...I don't know what it was, the freaks running around or the sun that has a babies face. All I know is that he laughs and verbalizes whenever the baby sun is on and he seems to like the other "things" in the show. Jaden is also fond of animals, which is why I bought this...He likes it. I think that it is odd, come on the first animal they introduce is a sheep on wheels, with the teletubbies saying "whhhhaaattt ttthhhaatt??" HELP ME! However, Jaden digs it, and I have seemed to have lost my ability to jump into the mind of a child, so for the time being it's on our playlist. I would have gave it 5 stars, but it's televison and I am not a fan of that so I had to give it 4 stars.

Summary: A Wonderful Video
Review: I bought this for my son, who is 13 months old. He loves the Teletubbies, and is in Teletubby heaven with this tape and Silly Songs and Funny Dances. At first, I cringed at watching the Teletubbies, but after seeing my son watch it and the smiles that it brought to his face, it made me changed my mind; I actually thought it was cute. He watches this tape so often that I am now considering buying it on DVD so that he has a spare copy. By the way, my son also loves the Sun Baby and the squeals of laughter that come out of her! Anything that makes my son that happy even if he's watched it over and over again is ok by me.

Summary: Outstanding Teletubbies movie
Review: I bought this Teletubbies movie for my 2yr. old daughter and she loved it so much that she watches it at least 8 or 9 times at day. She can repeat parts of the movie now and never gets tired of watching it. This is her first Teletubbies movie and since they are a hard to find product, without going on the internet, and Amazon.com has been the best in price to find any of the movies or books.

Summary: TELETUBBIES-GIVE THEM A CHANCE
Review: I bought this video for my 8 month old daughter. When I played it for her she couldn't take her eyes off the tv. It taught her new words. I was really shocked to hear her say lala and baby. this video has bright color,a real eye catcher. It focused on what babies love. bright colors, baby animals. The baby in the sun, when he/she laughs, is my daughters favorite part this video It is a must have.

Summary: Too Loooooong for Mommy
Review: I can't deny that my 2-year-old daughter loved this DVD at first, although her interest in the Tubbies is thankfully waning.
That aside, my biggest gripe is that the video is 70+ minutes long with no interruptions. Most children's tapes/DVDs are divided into segments - i.e. the Bear in the Big Blue House DVDs contain three episodes. That way, it can be turned off after 25 minutes if necessary (b/c you have somewhere to go, your kid is overloaded on tv, or Mom's mental health is suffering). When we put the Tubbies in, we're either in it for the long haul or must endure a breakdown of some sort.
Otherwise, I have to agree. The little guys are mesmerizing to kids, for whatever reason.
