Rating: Summary: My 2 yr old Loved It! Review: This is a great movie. Love that the Wiggles incorporated some fun tunes with lots of animal education. My two year old can name all the animals he sees on this video and knows all the dance moves. The only negative I can say is that the Butterfly song is a bit slow and long, but otherwise the movie is fun and educational. We really love it. I recommend!
Rating: Summary: A Fine Entry in the Wiggly World Review: With a 2 year old daughter to chase around, the Wiggles have become a mainstay in my home. They are a perfect distraction for my daughter when I have work that has to be done. What makes this video so good is that it introduces American children to some of Australia's unique wildlife. The Wiggles sing simple songs about koalas, dophins, cuckaburros(forgive the spelling), and even a song about snakes that warns "look, but you better not touch." (Crocodile Hunter)Steve Irwin's energy is a perfect addition to the fray. He explains simple things about the animals without going into too much detail for young minds. Of course, it's the songs that really hold my daughter's attention. Although she can't speak very well right now, she does manage to get a lot of the words to the songs right. Most of the songs are very good, although a couple of them seem to drag a little bit compared to others. Overall, this is a good video, and I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Parent's Beware of these Practices by this Company! Review: I REALLY HATE that you cannot access the menu without enduring ads for other DVDs. This company should be thrashed soundly for this practice. The whole point of buying a DVD is control. At least with the old VHS- I could fast forward. With this one, we have to watch the ads before we can access the menu!! No matter how many times I hit the menu button, I must wait until the ads for other DVDs are over. This is DEPLORABLE and the company should STOP this practice!
Rating: Summary: Not too bad Review: My son loves the Wiggles and watches them every day on Disney. So I bought him this DVD. Being that he had never heard the songs before he wasnt too impressed. It took a few weeks for him to like it. Over all - if your child loves the Wiggles and you as a parent are looking for a good, wholesome, educational movie for your child - the Wiggles are the way to go. I have watched one too many comedies that have hidden violence and adult undertones that my son does not understand YET - but I DO!! I have watched many an hour of their shows and the Wiggles are great!
Rating: Summary: Best for an Older Child Review: My 17 month old really doesn't like this video very much even though it was the first we purchased. Her dad calls it The Wiggles Meet Steve Erwin. The songs are cute, but the video seems a little long to me and she doesn't usually watch but a few minutes of it. As I limit her video time to when I fix dinner that means this video isn't very useful to me. She has started watching more in the last few weeks, but still prefers the other videos more.
Rating: Summary: loved it Review: My 21 month old son loves it. If I put it in he will sit there and watch the whole video. He will even get up and dance. He loves watching the animals. Even the adults sit and watch it with him. I think putting the Wiggles and Steve Irwin together was a great idea. I hope they will make another video together.
Rating: Summary: LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! Review: Of all the Wiggles tapes - this is the BEST! If your child likes the Wiggles - this is a MUST have! My 23 month old could watch it over and over and over again. I can actually get a few things done with this tape around. Steve Erwin and his family are a great addition to this tape. (The animals are wonderful..I think that's why she loves it so much!) A MUST HAVE! for any family!
Rating: Summary: Grows on you Review: We bought this video when it first came out & our son wouldn't watch more than 2 minutes of it before insisting it be taken out. Now that he's older (almost 2), he wants to watch this one multiple times per day! It doesn't have as much singing & dancing as the earlier videos, but it's his new favorite. When he picks it out now, we're saying "not again." My suggestion is: Don't rule out this video if your child doesn't love it at first, give it time & it'll grow on you.
Rating: Summary: The Wiggles and Travelin Tyke Review: What a phenom the Wiggles have become! Both my children watch the Wiggles before and after school and they just can't get enough of them. Captain feathersword and wags the dog are my favorite, but this show just proves that money does not make a good show.... creativity makes a good show! ...[website]
Rating: Summary: THIS IS A WIGGLY FAN MUST HAVE! Review: I can not even begin to count how many times my husband and I have watched this video with our 21 month old daughter...and the best part is that we're not sick of it yet! It's colorful, lively and fun, as all Wiggle things are, but also informative as kids learn about animals in the Australia Zoo with The Crocodile Hunter, his wife, and daughter. I particularly enjoy the bloopers/outtakes that are shown as the credits run. The Wiggles and their songs have given our daughter her groove and love of dancing! She's been be-bopping with them since she was about 9 months old...making this a video for old and young alike!
