Rating: Summary: Julie's done it again! Review: WOW! My two-year-old twins love the newest video, and Julie Clark is my hero! The simplicity of the images and the bright colors are just beautiful! The only bad thing about this video is that there's a LONG commercial at the beginning of the video...I guess Disney had something to with that. Highly recommended!!
Rating: Summary: Very good...like Baby Mozart Review: If you like Baby Mozart, you probably will like this one. My 15 month old twins saw it today for the first time and loved it. It is basically images of toys, puppets and children and Beethoven's music . My only complaint is that everytime you have play it you have to fast forward about four minutes of the tape to skip the commercial about other Baby Einstein products. That should be at the end of the tape!
Rating: Summary: love it! Review: My son loves all the baby einstein videos. This new addition is also great. His favorite is baby newton which some people say is a little different from the other baby einstein videos. he is 8 months and loves them all!
Rating: Summary: Better than Bach Review: This is a great improvement from the Baby Bach. The Clark kids aren't center stage. There are several kids throughout, which is great. The puppets are very funny and my daughter giggles at it when we put it in. Thank goodness there's a new one. I'm Mozart-ed and Bach-ed out!
Rating: Summary: Happy Again in NJ Review: I agree - this is back to being a great Baby Einstein video - it is fun and my son loves it. The only bad thing is the FOUR MINUTES of advertisements before it even begins!
Rating: Summary: love the beethoven! Review: My son had the bach and the mozart, now he has the beethoven. We rotate them so he and I don't get tired of them. He loves this one!
Rating: Summary: Symphony of Fun..... is exactly that FUN Review: My 16 month old has loved every Baby Einstein to dat, including this one. Every time a puppet came one he would giggle and scream, just as happy as can be! I loved sitting there watching him watch the video. I would recommend this to all Baby Einstein lovers especially for those whose kids already love those cute puppets! Way to go Baby Einstein... you've done it again!
Rating: Summary: Not Disneyfied Review: Just wanted to let anyone who was disappointed by Disney's influence over the last release (Baby Newton) know that this newest video is more or less true to form of the original videos.
Rating: Summary: Back to the basics Review: After the slight departure of Baby Newton from the traditional Baby Einstein series, we were happy to see that Baby Beethoven got back to the basics. Unlike Baby Newton, our daughter loved Baby Beethoven the first time. Disney made the right decision in going back to the basics for this series. The appeal is definitely back in Baby Beethoven.
Rating: Summary: Marketing aimed at children Review: Baby Beethoven has lots of nice pictures with music that my 17-month-old son enjoys. What's a bit disturbing is the obvious marketing and advertising in the 30 minute DVD. Lots and lots of toys are shown, then at the end we see toddlers playing with the toys! We own a few other Baby Einstein DVDs which do show commercial toys, but in Baby Beethoven the marketing is very blatant.
