Summary: The best so far!
Review: Me and my 28-month-old love this new video! It is refined in so many ways over past releases, such as Baby Bach or Baby Mozart. The puppets are all new, no longer made of wash cloth material, they now look like real puppets and are much cuter. All the toys shown are much more involved with the music. They move better to the music and are in constant motion full of brillant colors and fun shapes. Also the toys used seem to be more up-to-date. The music is exceptional as always. Also there are many more children in this one over the past releases. I really like the cut scenes between the songs, they show bright pictures of animals, much like on the Baby Einstein Flash Cards. This one is as good as Baby Einstein gets. A must have!

Summary: A must for any newborn
Review: We bought this as are first installment in the Baby Einstein series for our little boy. We began playing this for him at a very early age (five weeks) and were suprised at just how enthralled he was with it.

The visuals are great, and at the same time he is hearing the classics.

We can't wait to add to the collection.

Summary: the whole series has been fabulous for us
Review: Our baby loves Baby Beethoven.

It's a winner. The music is good quality

we have tried other baby videos but this series is far far superior to anything else we have seen.

Hats off to the creator.

We can not say enough good things about the product and we would strongly recommend to our friends with new babies

Summary: Fast-forward through the first five minutes...
Review: The "meat" of this video is as enjoyable as the previous two musical-themed Baby Einstein videos (Baby Bach, and Baby Mozart), but I am disappointed that Disney, who is now the parent company of Baby Einstein, chose to change the format we moms have come to depend on. When you have a crying baby, it's always great to just pop in a Baby Einstein video, because "the show" usually starts up right after the caterpillar creeps across the screen. Then it's usually 28 or so minutes of non-stop fun, followed by the "Hi, I'm Julie Clark..." advertising portion, and then on to the credits, which show each toy that was used in the video. This was always great because a baby would still be watching right up until the very end even though "the show" was over. Not so with the Baby Beethoven VHS! This video features a full five minutes of the newly redone advertising portion AT THE START OF THE VIDEO! This does not capture a baby's attention right away like all the other Baby Einstein videos. Also, since the ads are at the start of the video, the tape ends rather abruptly, and although the manufacturers of toys used are names, each toy is not shown again. This is a bummer if you want to buy any of the toys and you don't know what they're called. Aside from these couple of complaints, the video itself is good, but I would really recommend to Disney, for future Baby Einstein videos, that they please put the ad section at the end instead of up front.

Summary: Forget it!
Review: I can't believe this product would even get a 1 star rating. There are much better learning videos out there that are better than this one. I wouldn't waste my money or my daughter's time watching it. My 20 month old was completely bored! Please parents, don't just buy the status quo, dig deeper. There are better (hard to find), but available products out there. Your child is worth it!

Summary: Baby Einstein Rocks!
Review: We have purchased all of the Baby Einstein videos for our grandson, and he is only 9 months old. He loves them. No matter what is going on, he is completely absorbed as soon as one starts. It's great for getting him relaxed to go to sleep (he is very active) and he wiggles to certain songs he likes. He recently received the puppets and relates to them just as well. A "must" for anybody wanting a cultural and enjoyable distraction for young kids. PS - He likes all the age categories, so don't go by age recommendation.

Summary: love it!
Review: My daughter has "grown up" (she's 28 months) on baby einstein videos and loves this one as much as all the rest. the music is soothing and relaxes her, and she loves the visuals, which are as good as those on mozart. i do agree with the other reviewers, though, that it's a shame to see a big commercial at the front of the video. what happened? none of the other videos had this at the front. highly recommended, anyway! a great shower gift, too!

Summary: A MUST HAVE!!!
Review: I bought the Baby Mozart video and watched it myself before I played it for the baby. I thought that it was a gimmick and was disappointed. One day in baby desperation I put it in and it was amazing! I actually got 30 minutes to myself. The baby was mesmerized. I then bought Baby Bach and, while my son enjoys it, it wasn't as good. Then came Baby Beethoven... Julie Clark truly recaptured the magic of Baby Mozart. I would (and have) wholeheartedly recommend this DVD.

Summary: Perfection
Review: As a classical musician and early childhood music educator, I recommend it second only to Baby Mozart. The music is well arranged and it is perfection in the lines of stimulating brain development. Beethoven was brilliant and this video upholds his standards! Thank you once again Ms. Aigner-Clark.
