Rating: Summary: Amazing! Review: Being a veteran of watching this tape hundreds upon hundreds of times, I can feel pretty confident in recommending this tape to all new parents. My two year old has been watching since his first months and he now reads! Did this tape make a difference,...to some degree I believe it did! Captivating images and music!
Rating: Summary: A children's video that no child should be without Review: Baby Mozart is the first tape of the series that we purchased when our son was about 18 months old. We now wish we had done it sooner. He is now about 26 months but he still loves it. It contains all sorts of interesting toys, hand puppets, and of course the enhanting music of Mozart, which may actually help your child's intellectual development.Baby Mozart is like a wonderful magic spell that will captivate your child. As your child begins to talk, it is a good way to have him/her learn new words. When we watched with him, we called out the name or some characteristic of each toy and before long my son was identifying the objects himself. For some variation, I also recommend you consider Baby Bach and Baby Shakespeare. All in all it's a terrific series.
Rating: Summary: We can eat dinner again! Review: This video is among one of the BEST purchases I have ever made. We bought it when my son was 3 months old and now, a year later, he is still as facinated with it as the first time we played it for him. The videos images are timed perfectly to capture and hold his attention and the music is arranged beautifully(considering I am not sick of it yet)--you can't say that about the music of most children's toys. He seems to find comfort and peace when watching this video and it allows us 20 minutes of freedom. Now that he is older we are using the pictures to teach him words. I highly recommend you buy this video.
Rating: Summary: Baby Mozart Review: Every parent should be instructed to purchase this before they bring their child home from the hospital. My twelve month old really enjoys it. Even though his attention span is really short, it still maintains his attention longer than any other toy. I catch him trying to say the name of the objects as they appear (you can also purchase flash cards to assist with this) and even tapping his feet to the rhythm of the music. I use it to help him settle in before he goes to bed and it seems to work.
Rating: Summary: A must have Review: My daughter has been in love with this video since she was four months old and (15 mos. later) continues to love it. Unlike the dronings of Barney, this is a tape that you can have on in the background without any "parental discomfort". The visuals are simple but very engaging and they never seem to get old.
Rating: Summary: This is the best! Review: My son loves this video as well as the other ones. I bought the video for him when he was just 6 months old and now he is two and still enjoys watching it once in a while. The different objects and toys hold his attention and he dances along to the music. A must have!
Rating: Summary: Calming and wonderful for both you and your child Review: We've had this tape since our daughter was born and she's always loved it. She's two now and actually says "hello" to certain creatures and objects. The music in the video is, of course, beautiful, but the visuals are very sweet, charming, and interesting for little ones. I can't recommend this tape highly enough, it's the best video I've seen so far for children three and younger.
Rating: Summary: 30 minutes of peace... Review: i am a stay at home mom and the only time i am not playing with my son is when he is watching his baby mozart video. he has been watching this video since he was two months old and three months later, he never seems to tire of it. he is fascinated by the shapes and colors. i think this is a wonderful present for new parents. i have bought the whole collection, but this tape is definitely his favorite.
Rating: Summary: My toddler LOVES it! Review: I read the review that said this video was "not for toddlers" and I have to disagree. I didn't discover these videos until my daughter was 13 months old, and then I bought both "Baby Mozart" and "Baby Shakespeare". I alternate them so I don't get bored! My daughter, however, once watched "Baby Mozart" 7 times in a row with a sitter! She LOVES it. We are waiting anxiously for "Baby Van Gogh"!
