Summary: Great Attention Getter!
Review: I thought this movie was great. It was recommended by a friend of mine. This movie is wonderful for occupying my 8 month old while I get some house work done. The bold colors and basic shapes are very eye catching. I would recommend this movie time and again.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Easy for toddler to follow
Review: My 18 month old really enjoys this DVD. The animation is simple enough for her, she's not distracted with a lot of details that are in videos for older children. The story lines are also geared towards toddlers and seemed to be easy for her to understand.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It's not a bad dvd...Seen worse
Review: Then again, from the person that reviewed earlier. It seems that they are the ones watching and reviewing this and have no valid input from their 20 month old child.
Yes, the wheels on the bus song is not really prominent except for the breaks between stories, but it's the stories that need to be noted as they are your basic nursery rhymes, which teaches and entertains the kids.
I mean how many times do you wanna hear wheels on the bus song??? Go ahead and sing it with your kid instead of having a video do it for you. It's called family time!!! HELLO???
Not a bad dvd. Not the greatest, but if you are watching it instead of your kid, then there is something wrong with you. You should be cleaning the house instead of analyzing a children's movie.

Summary: A Must Miss!
Review: This DVD was a huge disappointment. My 20 month old son has been infatuated with the song "wheels on the bus" and I thought that buying this DVD would possibly save me from having to sing it for the 1,000th time. Wrong! Who would imagine that the song is NEVER even featured in the video (besides about 10 seconds during the credits, and even then it is some weird British version of the lyrics). The animation is terrible, the character's accents are odd, and the fairy tale stories are butchered. I was disappointed by this purchase on all levels.

Summary: Now purchasing after renting from video store
Review: We stumbled on this video when my 29 month old picked it up at the video store because he was drawn to the "Humpty Dumpty" on the back. (He loves the nursery rhyme and repeats it over and over). He really enjoys the video and got so upset when we had to return it. Yes, the narration is in a slight British accent but not so much that it distracts. Besides, I want my child to understand there is more in the world than his own home town. The nursery rhymes are not verbatim to what you may have heard growing up, but again I think this is part of the charm. My sons watches the Humpty Dumpty story over and over and marches around the living room when "all the kings men" start marching around trying to help Humpty.
