Summary: FINALLY!! <Whew!>
Review: After years of wailing and gnashing of our teeth (and much begging and pleading with various companies on our part too), the public will finally be able to purchase, and view in their own home, every single episode of this fantastic stop motion animation series by those brilliant animator's "Cosgrove and Hall". For so many years the public was never allowed to purchase very many of the episodes. The only things that were ever released in years past was the feature length beginning episode, and then about 3 episodes on 3 or 4 other tapes (with a couple of episodes changing out once or twice when they were reproduced). But finally we are getting a devoted company to produce every single one of the 65 twenty minute episodes (including also the feature length episode which was already released). This will be the first of about 5 volumes (plus don't forget also the separate single disc feature length episode) to be released. Being it one of my favorite styles of animation, plus also take into account some talented British voice actors, and the creative talents of Cosgrove and Hall, this makes for great fun family time. YEAH for A&E!! Thanks guys for getting your grubby little hands on the rights to produce everything in it's entirety (and hurry hurry hurry to get more of these out). Everyone here has been so longing to see this show again for a loooong time now. I personally love it even just a bit more as it helped bring me out of a deep dark depressing time I went through early one year several years ago, when by chance I happened to tune into a PBS channel, and by some freak of nature they happened to be airing some of the episodes in the early to mid 90's. Don't miss out on this wonderful show that should have never been allowed to stop. Now if we can only hope to get A&E to produce on DVD a separate little favorite stop motion project Cosgrove and Hall did around the same time that is just as rare, I speak of course about "The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship". So much talent and fun in one little production company that constantly needs as much praise and encouragement as we can give them.
