Rating: Summary: If you like sonic but are afraid he's just for 5 yr olds... Review: this proves otherwise, even though it is fun for 5 year olds, it can be so much more.
i won't waste your time comparing the two Sonic Series'. just know that this one is much darker and deeper (and actually carries a plot) then the other one. Maybe that's because Im goth... anyway,...
Storyline: Robotnik has kind of established himself as uler of Mobius and its up the Sonic and the Freedom Fighters (woodland animals- don't worry, they all talk and what not)to be the force of resistance, though most of the time, the outlook is grim.
It is an interesting take on the whole Sonic theme and i liked it much more than thisnew 'sonic x' crap where the audiance its aimed at is 8 year olds (no offense intended- ill probably end up buying it anyway just to see Knuckles. I love knuckles (spoken in a GIR voice). i love this show!
Rating: Summary: Greatest Sonic Cartoon Ever! Review: Though it didn't include characters that later appeared in the games (i.e. Knuckles, Amy), I still think SatAM is the best Sonic cartoon series out there! The series was much darker and much more interesting than the plot for the games, which added to its appeal. It was my favorite cartoon when I was younger, and I taped a bunch of episodes. I was thrilled when I found out a few episodes made it to DVD. I only wish they would release more! Some people complain about Tails' role in the series, but had the series continued, his role was going to become more like that of the games. I highly recommend this to any Sonic fan. It's only a few bucks, so what's the harm?
Rating: Summary: You have no idea how long I waited for this! Review: I first saw this cartoon when I was 7 years old. The dark plotline always made me even more interested to watch it. Yet I still remember the final episode and thinking 'I must have missed that episode that comes next.' Yet sadly I found out more recently that it was never created. Hopefully the creators will have the heart to create it! But until then I now own this amazing DVD!
Rating: Summary: Not the best, but still way past cool Review: As a fan of "The Advantures of Sonic the Hedgehog," the soap opera type appeal of the SatAM version was a shock at first. But the series itself is interesting and true to the original characters sayings and attitudes, so I don't mind. I won't start bashing Sonic Underground here... This DVD contains 5 episodes if you're truly a die-hard Sonic fan and can beat the trivia game, after which you get to see the episode about the Secret Scrolls (one of my favorites, being the first episode of SatAM I ever saw). Hopefully DIC will bestow more of these DVD adventures on us.
