Rating: Summary: My Fave SM Movie of all time! Review: I am a HUGE fan of all Animes, from Pokemon to Cardcaptors to Sailor Moon, but SM remains on top of all others! The movie is about Rini, the cuteness and pinkness (see her hair to see what I mean) of the series. The evil Badiyano (what kind of name is THAT?!) has a dream to put all the children of Earth in their own "Dream Boxes", where they will all be in a peaceful dream for eternity. Every child gives his/her "Dream Energy" to the "Black Dream Hole" while they sleep. Soon, the Dream Hole will have enough power to suck up Earth and put ALL humans into Dream Boxes! When she discovers that Rini, while she is Sailor Minimoon, has more Dream Energy than that of your normal child, Badiyano uses ALL of Minimoon's energy for the Dream Hole. Will The other 8 Sailor Scouts, with the help of Peruru, save Rini? You have to watch to find out!
Rating: Summary: A Movie with a Fairly Good Plot Review: First, of all I do not really like it when people say stuff to what you call "subbies" that they should lighten up. Please. All it is is a review. Why is it that you won't let us(I'm a "subbie too actually. ^_^) give our own opinion? We let you give yours, don't we? Yes, Pioneer tried hard to dub the original, but really...there will always be something that needs to be improved even if they "tried". Anyways, I thought you were suppose to make comments about the item, not other people's reviews. (I just had to point that out)This movie has a pretty good plot. The animation is excellent and the drawings were beautifully drawn. Plus! It shows the Outer Soldiers(Scouts), their new attacks and the Inner Soldiers(Scouts) new attacks. This is a must have for every Sailormoon fan.
Rating: Summary: Oh wow! Review: Did you know that SailorMoon is one of the most popular anime in Japan? Japanese animation artists take a lot of time drawing and making effects and graphics for these movies. They also dubbed the original versions just so that people who don't understand Japanese can see them. However some people in the United States don't understand some of the stuff they show and they call it perverted. Well, I can tell you that there is practically nothing in this movie that will make you jump to these conclusions. This movie is pure entertainment as far as movies go for me. It's nothing that a firsttime viewer couldn't understand, and it's appropriate for basically anyone over the age of 10. It's a great story about the Black Dream Hole trying to capture innocent dreamers so that they can have dreams that are just what they want. If you're a total sailormoon fan, then you can't miss out on this movie.
Rating: Summary: Good Movie Review: Okay, I've never seen the japanese one, or even subtitled, so I can't tell you that this was better or worse. I liked it alot, and it was better than hearts in ice. Hearts in ice was like another Beryl Battle, and this was good. it had an awesome ring to it too. I like the little suprises that came with it. You notice that Rini is growing real quick too. I loved it. *blitz* it was just awesome...
Rating: Summary: Lighten Up!!! Review: People please lighten up on the dubbed versions of the Sailor Moon movies!! Do you know how hard it is to keep a Japanese storyline and translate it to American and still keep it clean so Pioneer won't get calls from people being offended?! Actually watch the dubbed movie with a great attidute and you'll be surpised on how good it is! And about the voice acting. Its actually top notch, and yes I'm talking about the dubbed! Actually be glad that the voice acters take their time to make these movies so we can see them over here in the US! By the way, this isn't the review section of the Subtitled movie. Write a review on the product that you actually saw!!
Rating: Summary: Ignore the Sub = great Dub = horrible Review Review: There is nothing wrong with the dubbed and edited version of Sailor Moon SS. Please Subbies put a sock in it. You sound like a broken record every last one of you! This movie is nothing short of sweet and sugary like all Sailor Moon shows. Sentimental,Dramatic and full of Serena/Usagi and Rini/Chibiusa moments. You're forgetting about the quality entertainment Sailor Moon provides for her fans regardless age, language and race.
Rating: Summary: A So-So Movie Review: While not the best Dubbed anime I've seen, I have to give this movie a four because it has splendid animation, and an interesting plot. Not much character developement (for two reasons: one, how much developement can one expect from an hour-long movie, and, two, the director probably assumed you had followed the series), and, if you haven't seen this in the subtitled version, this video is a definate buy. If you HAVE seen the sudtitled one, or if you are an older view and can read fairly quickly, I would recommend the subbed version. This version is a bit dissapointing when it comes to the slight change in the story (Lita's recollection of the three o'clock fairy/Monday). Over all, however, this movie is a fairly decent piece of anime, and is good for hard-core collectors and newbies alike
Rating: Summary: Not The BEST Sailor Moon movie Review: I LOVED this movie... in the subbed version. Get that one, people.
Rating: Summary: My Review Review: I think the video is ok, but I liked the Hearts on Ice video better. Pretty soon, hopefully I'll get the Doom Tree Series, for sleepovers and such. The movie talks about Rini, Sailor Mini Moon. She and others get kidnapped by the evil queen Virandu. It shows all outer and inner scouts, except Sailor Saturn. its a cool video if your kid likes sailor moon and enchantment.
Rating: Summary: It was okay... Review: When the movie ended, I said to myself, "that's it??" It wasn't as good as the first two in terms of the storyline. Just keep in mind that I watched the dubbed version of Super S and S, and the subtitled version of R. But the animation sequences are beautiful. Look for the one part that shows Serena/Sailormoon crying, and you will know what I mean. Again, the only complaint I have about this movie is that story isn't as moving as the first two, but if you watch the subtitled one, maybe it will be better. I don't know, my only recommendation is to watch both subbed and dubbed versions of each movie and let you decide. My understanding is that the DVD's contain both versions (I think?), so watch the subs for the uncut and original version, and the dubs for a varied and a sometimes even better version.
