Rating: Summary: I love this movie!! Review: It is by far the best of all the three SailorMoon movies. I would get it if I were you. The end of the movie is a good one. It's also scary and very funny!
Rating: Summary: A MUST FOR ALL CHIBI-USA FANS!!! Review: Luckily, I was able to see this before it came to the US ( a Japanese foreign exchange student I met lent me her copy )! The animation is amazing! Much cleaner than what is shown on a certain cartoon channel. Pereru is an absolute doll with a heart of pure gold! I love the cookie baking scene at the beginning of the movie and the story of the 3 o'clock fairy! The only complaint I had is when the other fairy's play their instruments, the scouts say that they hear a flute. Pereru is the only one with a flute! The other instruments heard are bassoon, oboe, and clarinet, not flutes!
Rating: Summary: Not too great, but entertaining. Review: The story was not very original or interesting, and the script was tacky. The thing that kapt me going was watching the transformations and attacks, some of which I had never seen before. The music was the worst part, some of it elevator music, some of it horribly kiddy and happy. Fun, but not worth seventeen bucks.
Rating: Summary: It rocked Review: Well I just wanted to say that I just got it in (Sailor moon Super S) and I just watched it and it rocked big time. I only wish that the other series would be released:) I cannot wait for the other Sailor movies to get in :)
Rating: Summary: wicked cool movie! Review: I am a really big sailor moon fan and this is the first of three movies I have seen so naturally I'm still going nuts over it. I love that it shows all of the inners when they were young,(The opening song is my fave part!) and that the outer scouts (except saturn) are in the movie too. Sailor neptune is my fave but before this I had never seen her in action. This is a must have for any moonie, but I also recomend getting it when it's dubbed in case they cut something out.:(
Rating: Summary: KAWII!!! I don't care what you say, I LIKE Chibiusa! Review: This movie was soooo cute!! The voices in the orignal are far superior to anything DiC tried. Usagi and ChibiUsa are cute!!! The animation is also superb!! If you ask cel collectors, they will tell you they use a special paint in SuperS. The opening is cute too, with all of them as kids. My fav is either Minakos(imitaiting the TV, she DOES wanna be a star someday!)or Rei's. Moonlight Denestu rocks. If you apreciate anime and art, get this movie!
Rating: Summary: A must see for the Chibi-moon fan Review: I don't really like Chibi because in the begining of the Sailor Moon R series she is really annoying. But in this movie, Rini is Sailor Chibi-moon in it. (She's not that annoying when she changes.) But, she stars in it more than she usually does. Anyway, her character is nice in this one. There is also a cute, little, boy in it whose name is Peruru. I like his character.
Rating: Summary: Parents, don't panic. Video perfect for kids. Review: Hello. I'd just like to say that I love the Sailor Moon TV show and Movies, and am eagarly awaiting the English release. Parents please note that there is nothing to be worried about in these movies. There's probably more nudity in Ranma 1/2, and I've seen parents rent those videos by the doezen for their kids. As with Ranma, all is done in good taste and with reason, and there should be no problem if as long as you watch with them. I think some of the fans over-exaggerate.The Sailors do shed their clothes during the transformations, but it's nothing they don't see in the TV series. This is an enchanting pied piper fairy tale that any child would simply digest, with all the cute cuddly stuff you'd find in any disney movie, with all the excitement of a sci fi flick. As for the sailors themselves? Mulder was looking for aliens. He never expected this.......
Rating: Summary: Great for Sailor Moon fans, especially the younger Ones Review: In the American version, Rini *really* would drive me nuts, no matter how cute she looked. She was just a brat. In this movie, however, you see a LOT of her sweetness and redeeming features. Especially how much she actually loves Serena, even though she tries to hide it a lot. Anyway...with Rini being the central character here this movie is more for little kids, especially since I felt that there were some plot gaps which Sailor Moon R and S didn't make - they were much more smooth. I also felt that you needed to know more of the original anime in order to understand this movie. Otherwise, when Neptune, Pluto and Uranus show up with their scanty parts (I wish they had gotten more screen time and lines) you have NO CLUE who they are. Possibly the worst movie for people in America to get, since we haven't gotten Cartoon Network to air the rest of the Sailor Moon series as of yet, so we've never gotten to know Neptune, Pluto and Uranus.
Rating: Summary: She's not that annoying in the Japanese Versions... Review: Chibi-Usa (Rini) isn't that annoying in the movie as she is in the English. She gives a lot of support to Serena. But this movie does focus mainly around her, which makes it interesting because we can see more of her than usual, but makes it less because we don't want to see something about a 5 year old kid. And it is kid-based, with pide-piper theme and all, but it's still good. Usagi's (Serena, by the time you finish watching all three, you'll be calling them by their real names too!) is very emotional in this one with Chibi-Usa (Rini) and we finally get to see the Outer Senshi/Scouts! (You see'em in the S movie, too!) But it does lack Saturn, the one I want to see the most. But it's so moving, this movie, and we also get to see the Scouts in their "Super" forms and their new powers, which are good. Get this movie if you want to see the Sailors in their new forms, and the Outer Scouts, too. And besides, it's a great movie.
