Rating: Summary: The final Care Bears DIC DVD Review: Finally, Daydreams and Runaway end up on DVD. The episodes included are: "Daydreams" - Melanie's daydreams cause her difficulty concentrating on her work. "Runaway" - Cara runs away to a carnival. This one, unfortunately, is operated by Prof. Cold Heart. "The Last Laugh" (mislabeled as "The Show Must Go On")* - Swift Heart and Playful Heart put on a comedy performance to improve the morale of Cheer and Grumpy. Cheer has become depressed because of her failed attempts to cheer up Grumpy. "The Old Man and the Lighthouse" - Three children get trapped in a harbor during a storm trying to spy on the local lighthouse keeper, Capt. MacDougal. Also includes a Strawberry Shortcake episode. *The listing, the DVD menu, and the on screen title has "The Show Must Go On" - the episode in which the Care Bears help Patti Johnson by getting her father to attend her ballet performance, but anyone who watched the shows over the years will recognize that the episode actually shown in that slot is "The Last Laugh". Fotunately, both "The Last Laugh" and "The Show Must Go On" (as a "bonus episode") are included and correctly titled on The Last Laugh DVD.
Rating: Summary: Classic Care Bears Review: This DVD is great! Is four classic care bear episodes that used to only be on t.v on Saturdays. I am 21 and I bought this DVD and was pleased and surprised to find that I remebered every one of the episodes on the DVD. My favorite short on the DVD is "The show must go on" because it has cheer bear trying to cheer up grumpy bear and she eventually cheers him up. I also love the message of this particular short, which says that if you care enough about somone, you don't give up on them. I recommend this movie for the new generation of care bear fans, or the old ones who love the classics (like me)!
Rating: Summary: I really like Care Bears but. . . Review: This dvd only has 4 Care Bear cartoons, one of which is on the Last Laugh dvd (The Show Must Go On), and one of which is on the Bedtime Stories dvd, (The Old Man and the Light House.) The other two stories are enjoyable if you like the regular stories, and were not previously released on dvd. And there is a Strawberry Shortcake short, but it's new, not an 80's SS cartoon, and I don't like the "new" SS, but it is better then the short which was on Care Bears to the Rescue.
