Rating: Summary: Classis Scooby-Doo Review: This DVD really takes you back to the old-school Scooby-Doo... before that little schmuck Scrappy. Good classic episodes that are great for all ages and never get old.
Rating: Summary: Very good, loved it. Review: This DVD takes me back a number of years. I love it.
Rating: Summary: Not bad Review: This is a good dvd for it's time , but now that the first two seasons are in one box this is a waste of money. Honestly save your cash and get the bigger set. The picture quality is just as good in the new box as it is here. However if you ONLY like the episodes here buy this, but I highly doubt that, but if for a small child maybe this is the one to get. I highly recommend this dvd for anyone who wants just a few episodes for the kiddies ONLY, otherwise get the boxed set. I give this ONLY 3 stars due to the company's way of cashing in on this release only to re release the box a bit later, otherwise the content and quality are 5 star quality.
Rating: Summary: DVD has arrived - Scooby's here! Review: What can I say? The transfer of each of the five episodes is fantastic, as is the sound. The episodes here are the first five, so while being classics, they are not my personal pick for the best selection. I hope that Warner continue to issue all the ep's up to the '76-'77 series - I'd buy them all! My personal fav. here is 'A Clue for Scooby Doo', if only for the classic character Ebenezer Shark: "looks like your pooch found me old diving suit!" Oh, and skip the 'extras'. Just an assortment made up from the newer (i.e. bad) episodes.
Rating: Summary: On a scale from 1 - 5 . . . a perfect 10. Review: Yeah, yeah I know I don't have the disk yet, but having seen the episodes on the Cartoon Network so many times already I've come to crawl under my blankie, with a plate of Scooby snacks on one side, one of Shaggy's Skyhigh Sandwiches on the other side and enjoy the show, but now instead of waiting for a specific time, I can do it any time I want to, and all of my favorites are there Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Fred and (sigh) Velma. The signature scares and unmaskings are there too, I just hope they do more of the episodes on DVD.BTW: Does anybody besides me think Velma's cuter than Daphne?
Rating: Summary: Scooby Doo's Original Mysteries DVD Review: You can't go wrong with the classic scooby. The five episodes are among the best with humor and mystery as the main theme. I loved the extra's on this dvd especially the scooby trivia. I would have given this dvd a perfect score but the music video featuring the occultic hex girls from The awful "witches ghost" movie kept me from it. But again a great dvd.
