Summary: Digimon: Digital Monsters - True Stories of the Movies
Review: Before I talk about THIS movie, I should let all you Digimon fans know about a few other things about the Digimon movies: . . .
* In the original Japanese version, there are 7 Digimon Movies, the first two are involved with Season 1, with the origin of the Digi-Destined (translated into here), the Battle with Diaboromon on the Internet where WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon DNA-Digivolve into Omnimon (translated here) and the third movie, in the middle of Season 2, where T.K. & Kari, Davis, Yolei & Cody meet Willis (finally translated). All 3 movies had various scenes cut-out as there was not enough money to make a 2hr Movie - with movie 3 having the MOST cut-out scenes, having the older Digi-Destined captured. The animation, unfortunately, is not better than the TV Show, but its movement is slightly improved. The voices do okay, but not as well as the TV Show.
The other 4 movies, beginning with the 4th Movie "Diablomon/Diaboromon Strikes Back" is set after the Digi-Destiend defeat MaloMyotismon, and they are havinga battle against Diaboromon's Baby forms who converge into Armagemon. Omnimon/Omegamon and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode cannot beat him, until Omegamon's body of energy becomes Excalibur the Sword, transforming Imperialdramon into his Paladin Mode and defeating Armagemon.
Movie 5 & 6 have not been translated and are involved with "Season 3: Digimon Tamers", the 5th Movie (in the middle of the Season between eps 18 & 19) has Takato, Henry & Rika fighting Mephitsomon-Galfmon, who attempts to controil the world with V-Pets. And the 6th Movie is set after Season 3, with more of the TV Characters fighting an evil Parasite digimon controling a train Digimon who runs amuck in the Real world.
The final 7th Digimon Movie, "Revival of the Ancient Digimon" is set in the middle of "Season 4: Digimon Frontier" where the Digi-destined come across an island where human-type and beast-type digimon war against eachother and the children must stop the deception.
All the Digimon are less than an hour, running for either 3O mins or 51 mins. However the animation in movies 5-7 is better but looking closer to the show. It would've been better if they did Movies 1-2 first, then 3-4 as a sequel, followed by 5-6 for a third movie and putting 7 as a bonus feature.
BUT IT WAS REALLY GOOD ALL THE SAME!

Summary: Mainly For Digimon Fans
Review: I enjoyed this movies being a Digimon fan. If you don't know much about Digimon in the first place, this will be a very confusing movie. It's 3 compressed Japanese films so it skips through the backstory of the digi-destined and how they got there digimon partners, how both the new and second teams met, etc. They basically tried to put together the story of Willis, Kokomon, and the virus. Also, the anime in this movie is more like Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon, which is a different style of anime from the one on the Digimon show. The DVD doesn't have many extra features, just a Len music video and the movie trailer with other basic DVD options. Unless you're a big fan (which I am :), I'd just rent it. Oh, and I would've liked if they made a compressed version of the 1st and 2nd movie from Japan and then released the whole 3rd version seperately. Would've made for MUCH better movies.

Summary: .....Still can't beat Poke'mon, you digimon losers!
Review: Digimon is such a copy off of Poke'mon. I mean the names both sound the same, but the shows are different. I recommend that you get Pokemon and don't even give digimon the time of day!

Summary: Officialy the best movie I've ever seen
Review: ...My favorite movies are Twice Upon A Time, Ducktales The Movie, and Pokemon The Movie 2000. And then there is this one.
It's SO COOL!!!
As many people know, this movie is from 3 seperate OVAs (which are Japanese movies that last an hour or less) that came out and took place before the series started, six months after the 1st season, and sometime during the second season (like several weeks after they defeated the Digimon Emperor.)
The only bad thing about this movie is that they completely re-wrote the script and rearranged the scenes so it looks like all 3 OVAs are linked together, and they cut out more than 40 minutes of the original films. Let's name a few of the parts that were cut/edited.
1. Tai, Matt and the other old digidestined were kidnapped by Kokomon in the 3rd movie.
2. Kokomon was not really attacked by the virus.
3. In the first movie, Tai and Kari didn't know, or were not well aquainted with the other digidestined.
4. Izzy didn't get an email from Willis, just some other kid.
5. Davis, Yolei and Cody, hitchhiked all the way to America.
6. Terriermon's original in-trainig name is Gummimon.
7. 'Kokomon' was dancing earlier on in the 3rd movie, not at the end (which would have made a lot more sense.)
8. Willis's name is originally Wallace. He also really lives in New York.
9. In the first movie, Koromon and Greymon never talked.
10. I'm not Indonesian, I'm American.
To find out about other stuff that they cut out, go to websites like ... or .... Anyway it's still a good movie. And for those of you who wonder why Agumon was so big in the first movie, I'm not going to tell. They made a 4th movie to Digimon which has Ken in it. They are also working on a fifth which will occur in the third season (ugh) but, when it will come out in America still remains a mystery.
And that's about it. And for those of you who think Pokemon and Digimon are the same, well you've got some nerve (read the other reviews to see the differences).
And one more thing, Sora wrote back to Tai apologizing.

Summary: Digimon, Digital monsters digimon are the champions.....
Review: Digimon:The Movie is an absolute digi thing! It's realy cool. I think that the funnyist part is when Koromon Noom sludges on the floor in Tai's house when Tai and Kary first meet him. Another thing is Davis' crush on Kary! He even tells Willis not to kiss her! When he does at the end, Davis gets realy mad and calls Kary "his girl" and kary says "what do you mean, your girl?"!!! I think that the fight between Greymon(Agumon, Digivolve to!)and the Bird-like digimon is cool! The only attack Greymon(Agumon, Digivolve to!)uses is "Nomar Blaze!". The only attack the Bird uses is "Light Destroyar!"!
Here's a list of all the digimon in the show:
Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon, WarGreymon, Gabumon, Patamon, MetalGururumon,Angemon, Angewomon, AngeDramon, Syrothesamon, Gatomon, Veemon (of course!), Flamedramon (The Fire of Courage!), Randramon (The storm of friendship!), Hawkmon, Halsemon (The wing of love!!)Armadillomon, Digmon (The Drill of Power!), KoKomon, Infermon, Karamon, Koromon, Tentomon, Kabutarimon, Terriormon, and ????????. I won't tell you what Terriormon Digivolves into! Anyway, Guildamon (My digimon) has to eat. My advice is to get the movie!! It's HIARIOUS!

Summary: Omega!
Review: Digimon: The Movie is a segment of three movies, all relased seperately in Japan. In movie 1, before season one (the original airings on telivision), Tai (Taichi) and Kari (Hikari), two special characters, meet Koromon at ages 7 and 4. Tai is 7, Kari is 4. They meet a special Digimon who turns out to be Tai's partner in season 1. This movie was short and to me, pretty un-interesting, but I loved it anyhow!

Movie 2, aka Part 2, takes place after season 1. Izzy (Koushiro) discovers a DigiEgg on the computer. It hatches in to a baby digimon, and begins to eat up data on the internet. Soon, people from all over the world are watching the battle between Diaboromon (strongest level of digimon) on their computers. Even Yolei (Miyako) from season 2 at a young age appears, sending e-mails along with other kids to Tai, Izzy, Matt (Yamato), and T.K. (Takeru). Eventually, they beat Diaboromon.

Movie 3 takes place during season 2. Davis (Daisuke), Yolei, Cody (Iori), T.K. and Kari are hanging out at a beach. Davis, Yolei, and Cody are all new Digidestined, mind you. They meet Willis and his Digimon Terriermon. He had twin Digimon, Terriermon and Lopmon, but Lopmon ran away and grew up confused and evil. Now Lopmon, aka "Endigomon", tells Willis to "go back", as Willis comes from Colorado. WIllis created Diaboromon when he wanted three Digimon instead of two. But, when he made Diaboromon, a virus infected him and so started movie 2. But, they cut out HALF OF THIS MOVIE in the American version. Endigomon originally captures the old Digidestined in order to find Willis. THEY CUT THIS OUT! HALF OF THE MOVIE! But, it was so cool, my grandparents even liked it! "Kids in America" by Len is playing during the credits. PRODIGIOUS MOVIE! I also have a movie clip of the cut scenes in Japanese. PRODIGIOUS MOVIE!

Summary: Digimon kicks Pokemon's butt
Review: This movie is what got me into Digimon. When my mom first rented it for me I thought "it's just a copy of Pokemon, it's going to be lame." But it wasn't! Pokemon and Digimon are totally different! Pokemon is more of a younger kids show but Digimon can be enjoyed by older kids too. I mean in Pokemon almost everybody they meet is good. In Digimon there are evil people too. Too put it simply Digimon Kicks Pokemons Butt! This movie Rocks!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I'm speachless this is just the best movie ever.
