Summary: Love it
Review: I have been watching The Great Pumkin since I was a kid. I grew up in the 60s so you can only imagine how old Iam. It brings back the warm feelings of Fall and Halloween for me. I just love it and always will.

Summary: A simpler time....
Review: This cartoon is one of my favorites. I am 21 and I still watch it every year. The great thing about it other than the fantastic artistry, is how simple and warm it is. When I need to escape from the ills of this world, I pop this one in and revert to a quieter, simpler time in my life. Thank you, Mr. Schultz.

Summary: The motto is only care about what you believe
Review: It was an exelent movie. With all the charactors of the peanuts gang in a hillarous movie about faith in what you believe. You can't aford to miss this wonderful movie.I rate this movie 2 thumbs up!

Summary: A movie that is filled with wonder and laughs
Review: I love it!!! You can never outgrow the Peanuts gang. It brings you back to those nights when CBS would broadcast Specials in Primetime, where kids would gather round and eat homemade popcorn.

It's not only the characters of Charlie Brown, Linus and Lucy that keep you in hysterics, but Sally .. she steals the show. She's not only cute and loveable, but can whip out sarcasm with the best of em. I think she can even give Lucy a run for her money!

Summary: This is something Ill never get tired of
Review: Ive always loved the Peanuts, and even though Im 15, I still love watching this video every Halloween, like I did after trick or treating every year. Next to Charlie Brown Christmas, this is the best cartoon movie Ive ever seen!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It's almost like I am a kid again
Review: Very few things bring out the kid in me and this is one of them. I grew up waiting for CBS to broadcast this every year and always checked the schedule at least a week in advance. Now, my children love the movie and think I am strange for also loving the movie. It is sweet and kind, compared to today's cartoons which are frequently coarse.

I have many of the Charlie Brown movies and am amazed at their popularity with kids today. This movie is one of Schultz's best.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It is one of the greatest comedies I've ever seen!
Review: This movie is hilarious and serious. However the comical parts sent me and my 4-year old sister into fits of laughter! This is a great movie!

Summary: A Classic - Sally and Linus Sittin' In A Pumpkin Patch ...
Review: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is indeed a Charile Brown classic for all ages, child and adult alike. I never tire of watching it every Halloween, and have for over twenty years.

Charlie Brown prepares to go trick-or-treating, dressed as a ghost with many, many eye holes - classic Charlie Brown. Linus, for weeks has been drumming up his belief that the Great Pumpkin will arrive this Halloween and give out treats and presents to all good boys and girls - a take off, of sorts, of Santa Claus.

The only one who believes him, and ultimately sits the whole night with Linus, is Sally, his adoring sweetheart.

While the Peanuts gang go off trick-or-treating, (all Charlie Brown gets are rocks), Linus and Sally wait ... and wait ... and wait ...

Snoppy has his own adventure; dressed as a WW1 flying ace, he dreams of having it out with the infamous Red Baron. A wonderful scene, which has him being shot down over France, and trying desperately to make his way home.

In the meantime, Linus and Sally are still waiting for the Great Pumpkin. As it becomes later at night, Sally begins to speculate. Still, her devotion to Linus keeps her at his side. And yet, it gets later and later until the Peanuts Gang return with bags filled with all sorts of goodies. Sally drools over the treats, soon becoming angry with Linus, and herself, that she sat all night in this pumpkin patch for nothing. She finally stands and has it out with poor Linus, and leaves, disgusted with herself.

Linus continues to wait for the Great Pumpkin, fearful he has done something to offend him, and thinking this is why he has not shown up.

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is one of the great Charlie Brown classics that has endured nearly forty years, and will continue to endure for years to come, entertaining many future generations of children - and their parents.
