Summary: Worth it...
Review: First of all Jaws the revenge (the 4th of the series) obviously can't be compared to the original. So if you can accept that, this DVD is OK. Story line is stupid as the great white shark is seeking revenge at family of the sheriff in the original Jaws. Michael Caine co star. Look out for a scene where Michael Caine just got off the water the water and seconds later his shirt and hair already dried up. Anyway...this DVD is not a complete waste of time. The picture and sound quality are not bad at all.

Review: Well, I have mixed feelings about this film. Let me start with the good points. The cast is really good and all do a fine job, the camera work on the film is also the best of the 4 movies. The Bad: A giant (even for a white) shark, that growls and wants revenge? What were the writers smoking when they thought THAT up? The worst part about this movie is the end. It's just really dumb. Frankly, this isn't a great movie, but it's a good way to waste a some time and not be bored

Review: I bought this dvd becaus it was only... and the only thing good about this movie is the scenery,the bahamas but everything else was very bad ,the darn shark exploded for no aparent reason, who directed this movie? I agree with most people,they should have stopped at jaws 2!!

Summary: A STINKER!
Review: I ENJOYED ALL OF THE JAWS MOVIES UNTIL THIS CAME OUT. IT WAS TOTALLY PREPOSTEROUS AND BORING. ENOUGH JAWS ALREADY!! I DID NOT LIKE THEIR CHOICE FOR THE WIFE FOR THE OTHER MOVIES IN THE FIRST PLACE AND IN THIS ONE SHE ABSOLUTELY SMELLED. IT WAS ALL SO UNBELIEVABLE. I WOULD NEVER WATCH IT AGAIN, ONCE IS TOO MUCH.

Summary: Why didn't they stop at Jaws 2?
Review: Jaws was a fantastic film and is probably one of the best films in movie history. Jaws 2 was no where near as good, but was still, in itself, a fairly good sequel. Jaws 3 was just too much. Originally, that movie was not even supposed to be a Jaws movie, but dialog was edited and cut to make it a Jaws movie. And a very poor one at that. Unfortunately they didn't learn. This movie is not as bad as 3, but that really isn't saying much.Quite a shame, really...the characters in the movie are actually quite likable. Character development is actually handled rather well, and Michael Caine also manages to liven up the movie a bit with some tales to make you chuckle. But it's the overall plot of the movie that makes it so bad. If this wasn't a Jaws movie, it may actually have been a good movie all together. The concept of a shark out of revenge.......sorry...that just really makes no sense whatsoever. Mike Brody is back after a family tragedy, and his mother (role reprised by Lorraine Gary) is convinced that its 'The Shark' and its back for revenge. You will also see some of the original cast of Jaws reprising their roles alongside Ellen Brody, such as Mrs. Kintner and police deputy(Still a deputy after all these years???). Mario Van Peebles is Mike's research buddy and adds comic relief to the film. There is a rather poigniant moment that is a throwback to the original Jaws, with Mike and his daughter acting out the same scene that Chief Brody and Sean did at the dinner table in the original classic with the copycat game. Other than that, this movie is full of action, but there are many things that just go beyond the realm of nonsense and stupidity, namely the shark with a mind for vengeance. What is very odd is that there are several versions of this movie. When you see this movie on TBS or TNT (At least once a month on a sunday afternoon, you WILL see it), Jake(Mario Van Peebles) will either be alive or dead at the end of the movie, and the then end scene will be either the theatrical movie ending, or a badly cut and pasted scene from the ending of the first movie. Very odd. Randomly on TV they change it. This particular edition of the movie features the 'new' footage, with Jake actually being alive at the end. All in all, a bad movie mainly because it has taken the Jaws series WAY too far. IT should have stopped at Jaws 2. Even Jaws 2 was slightly overkill. Let a good name rest. If you want a mindless action movie with a poor plot, then go for this. Personally, I recommend the same thing i did for Jaws 3: If you are lounging in bed and feeling lazy on a Sunday afternoon, and you happen upon this movie on TBS or TNT(Like I said, at least once every month or so), by all means watch it. Rent it if you must, but don't buy it, becuase you'll watch it once and probably not watch it again.

Summary: This is Crap
Review: This is not only the worst Jaws ever made, but it is the worst movie in general I have ever seen. People were concerned about not seeing enough shark in the previous movies? Well, you saw way too much in this one, and it had to be the worst special effects they could have thrown together. The shark even stands straight up in the water, vertical, not moving, for about 15 seconds waiting to be hit. Then, when he hits the front of the boat, somehow the entire rest of the boat is affected? It suddenly falls apart. .... I wish that there was a zero star option, because this movie doesn't even deserve it. DON'T BUY THIS MOVIE, DON'T EVEN WATCH IT! Cheesy, fake, predictable, stupid, horrible, insulting. All words that describe this movie in its entirety.

Review: i THOUGHT jAWS 4 WAS A FANTASTIC MOVIE! tHE SCENCES WERE VERY GRAPHIC, ESPECIALLY THE BLOODY SCENCES. THIS WAS A GREAT SEQUEL TO ALL THE MOVIES. MY FRIEND AND I ADORE IT.I THOUGHT THE SHARK LOOKED VERY REAL,SO I GIVE THIS MOVIE 5 STARS.

Review: Lorranie Grady repeats her role of Ellen Brody,widow of Martin Brody(Played by Roy Scheider in Jaws,Jaws2).Don't let the cover fool you thisfilm was totally stupid.A shark in the Bahamas?YEAH RIGHT!In one scene the shark is faster than a seaplane,sure it is.Sean Brody(younger child of Ellen)gets killed by a great white off Amity Island,and Ellen goes off to see her oldest son Michael(Lance Guest),his wife(Karen Young),and grand child(Judith Barsi).There is one good scene when the grand child comes face to face with a great white.Rated PG-13 violence and language.

Summary: Worst of the Worst or How to waste good money & 90 min.
Review: This is by far the Worst film of the Jaws Sequel. The film rely's only on Lorraine Gary (A Marvelous Actress) to cary the whole fim on a spaghetti style movie. The film is twenty five percent flashback with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ORIGINAL added in. I feel sorry for the entire cast of this film. They will be carrying the shame of having to endure countless ridicule about actually being in this putrid excuse for a film that has the audacity to even be listed under the JAWS banner. The One redeeming quality of this film is that JAWS THE REVENGE actually makes Jaws 3(JAWS 3-D) look like an excellent sequel.
