Summary: Great film, Great DVD
Review: All time classic film. When I saw this available on DVD I had to buy it! Even though I already had it on VHS. The quality is excellent, sound too. Only downside is that there are no extras on this DVD. Surely they could have found at least one deleted scene?!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Super action thriller starring Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Review: I love this movie. Just watch it in in surround sound to capture all the special sound effects. Perhaps Arnold's best action film. Great plot!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best of Arnolds true muscle movies.
Review: I must say when I first viewed this movie I was truely scared. I was also only 13 years old. I have grown up always loving arnold for his massive looks. And this movie displays him well. And more over.... who doesn't love the Preditor anyway?????

Summary: Mind-Blowing Action !!!!!!

Summary: Predator takes awhile to get going, but gets there
Review: Predator is like a car that has a bad transmission and no muffler: it takes a while to start and is a noisy ride. In Predator's case however, the ride's never dull. Predator starts out with Arnold Schwartzenegger and his merry band of mercenaries slanging and banging their way through terrorist-infested Central America. It seems the 'fun' will never end, with thousands of rounds of ammo per minute exploding at thousands of decibles. When it does, Arnold and company quickly realize that while they may have won the battle, the war is just starting as an unseen Predator (with a taste for human) picks them off one by one. Despite its beginning, Predator has a lot going for it. One, it's a star-packed action vehicle with Schwartzeneggar and a first rate director in John McTiernan. Second, McTiernan steers Predator away from what could have been a total wreck and delivers some genuine suspense in the movie's second half (when our heroes go from battling the Predator with guns to using their brains instead). Finally, the photography is great! The infared omnipresence of the Predator is spectacular in that it keeps the Predator hidden and rivets the viewer to the movie for the moment when the Predator is revealed. Predator may be noisy and long, but in the end it's an exciting ride that gets where it's going.

Summary: it is one of the best sci-fi movies
Review: predator is a great action sci-fi movies i've seen. the special effect of the predtor is great even comparing to the special effects today. Arnold is also great in the movie. The casts in the movies are great too. I think this is a great movie for those who likes action adventure films.

Summary: Arnold at his BEST!!!!
Review: This movie ROCKS!!! I watch it EVERYTIME it comes on cable, I have seen it probably 10 times ATLEAST! The movie starts with a killer cast and awesome direction and from there it builds to an explosive (literally) ending. This is DEFINATELY one of Arnold's best! After his entire team is killed off, one-by-one, does Arnold go running home like a little, girly-man??? OH HEEELLLLL NO!!! Instead he opens an INDUSTRIAL size can of 'WHOOOP -A**' on the Predator and declares WAR on him! One of my ALL-TIME favorite sci-fi flicks, hands down!

Summary: Stick around!
Review: I've been in love with this film since I first saw it. Most people were hooked on Star Wars as a kid, and by all means thats fine. But I wanted something different. Preadator was just it. Great music, great action, great special effects, but nothing overkill.

An old showbiz theory is to always leave the audience wanting more. That's exactly what this movie does. It leaves so many unanswered questions, and much to the imagination, something that the sequil lacks.

Minus the cheesy one-liners like "Stick around" and thank God he didn't say, "I'll be back." Arnold is very believable.

Summary: Awe Inspiring, very original
Review: I have no clue why this movie was nominated for special effects instead of its music. I mean, you could never find a more fitting music than here. I have watched it upteen times and gives me the feeling that alan sylvestri, with his ingenious score almost directed the movie. The music is dark but seemingly "preemptive" to whatever seems impossible to achieve. And it certainly strikes a chord with a certain breed of man. Yes! any other actor substituted for arnold would have pruned the high.

Summary: Arnold's best by far......
Review: This film has something very special about it. The atmosphere it creates for the viewer and the musical score by Silvestri is truly one of a kind. Every time i watch this flick i love it even more because i am amazed as to how well made it was for it's time. One of the most intense and most exciting movies ever made and for those who don't like Arnold movies, try this one out because you just might like it.
