Review: The Mummy was the best movie I have ever seen. It has great special effects and I like the bit at the beggining when they tell you the story about the priest and the queen. The Bugs that eat people are really freaky and the Movie sure makes you jump out your seat. This Movie sure deserves a 5 out of 5. I really cant think of anyone who would not like such a fab and brilliant movie.

Review: I have seen this movie a mere 6 times simply because every time i would walk out i would think of something i wanted to get back to. I thought it was a really great movie. The special effects were well done, great acting, good humor, and i although the plot was a BIT predictable.. it was a good movie

Review: I don't know what people are expecting in action movies nowadays. Some kind of deep running touchy feely stuff mixed with a high amount of fx. Geez, just watch the movie and enjoy it. I did and expected no more than what it showed.

Review: From reading other reviews, it seems that British (or of British decent) have had much more difficulty accepting this great movie than North American movie-goers. C'mon U.K. residents (you too down under) get with it. The Mummy is a great divergence movie giving you a chance to laugh when no other movie producers have given you that chance in the past. Great special effects add to the pleasing adventure you'll have. Can't wait 'til it comes out on video to add it to my collection...............Cheers

Summary: Ignore the critics!
Review: Film critics are 99% biased. I thought the movie was maybe a little slow at times but always left me wondering what was going to happen next. Brandon Fraser is an excellent/versatile actor and his counterpart Rachael Weisz was equally as good. I would suggest not going in with the attitude of "how is it going to compare with the 'old Mummy'. . .Karloff is Karloff". This is a new day and a new time and I think the production was more than worth the time I spent watching it! You will definately see fine acting, action and great special effects!! Give "The Mummy" a fair chance, it's a great flick!

Summary: Totally boring, the worst movie I've seen this year
Review: I'd have to say even a totally hyped film such as Phantom Menace is better than this. Where's the story? I watched half of it and then turned it off. It's now sitting in an auction where I hope someone will actually be it off me. Try The Matrix instead which I also bought, but thought was actually quite good.
