Review: really enjoyed this summer movie --plan to own the dvd -- can not decide which format to buy. this was just lots of fun. the actors looked like they were having a good time & the special effects were very cool. being a brendan fraser fan -- it was a joy to see him in this popular film. sit back and catch all the jokes and just enjoy enjoy.....

Review: I pretty much agree with all the reviews written so far... the good and the bad. But let's try to keep in mind the reason we watch movies; to be entertained. And this movie was as entertaining as any I've seen! Action, adventure, humor, effects... it has it all. The acting was fine, and the story, though familiar, was engaging enough to keep me interested. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are easy on the eyes, and quite good in these roles. But it's the effects that will keep people talking about this film. Fantastic! Unmatched by anything in its genre. See This Film!

Review: This movie brings back the scarry movie themes from the past. The mummy is a creature of passion and horror and the supernatural that we all wish we will not run into. We need to believe in something supernatural and the mummy captures todays tenology and yesterdays myths. Forget all your preconceived ideas and enjoy the movie.

Summary: The Best Egyptian Movie Yet !!!!!!!
Review: This not only has suspence, adventure, action, humor, and romance, but also acurate portrayings of the Egyptian culture. It is about an Egyptian priest who fell in love with the Pharoh's beautiful concubine who was forbidden to all other men. The Pharoh catches them together and they kill him. As the guards are breaking down the door, she and the priest say goodbye, the priest promissing to reserect her, and leaving. The gaurds break through and see her standing over the dead pharoh. Her last words are, "My body is no longer his temple!!" and she kills herself. While in the prosses of reserecting her, the priest gets caught and is killed with a curse put on him. Years latter, his mummy is acidentily brought back to life and Fraser and Weisz try to stop him before he gets controll over the world.

Review: A few laughs, some incredible effects, and likeable acting by Brendan Fraser make this a worthwhile movie to own...lots of extras on the dvd version make it a good buy. Don't listen to the sorry critics who tried to compare this flick with the classic.. they've forgotten how to laugh.

Review: I didn't have a chance to see this film when it was in the theaters-- but thankfully I got my hands on a pre-release DVD. This movie rocks!! It is so much fun with great heroes and a nasty villain (and Rachel Weisz is super cute!)
