Review: This movie is a slight departure from the old black and white. But it takes on whole new light with the characters and the off beat sense of humor in it. I just loved it. I thought at first when we rented it. That I would half heartedly watch it. But it just pulled me in. So we bought it. Its funny,scary and not blood fest. I think most everyone will like it alot.

Review: THE SPECIAL EFFECTS OF THIS MOVIE ARE TRULY SPECTACULAR. IF ANCIENT EGYPT WAS EVEN HALF AS GLORIOUS I WAS BORN IN THE WRONG TIME. RACHEL WEISE IS ADORABLE AS THE GENIUS DITZ OF THE DESERT, I'D KISS A CAMEL FOR HER. I THOUGHT BRENDAN FRAISER WAS GREAT. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS FILM.

Review: The commercials intrigued me so when The Mummy came out on rental I scooped it up immediately and was glad I did. The Mummy is a light-hearted, humourous horror movie which is very reminiscent of Indiana Jones. This movie needs to be taken for exactly what it is...a comedy, drama. If you analyse it too much you lose the fun. I thought the cast was good, the special effects were great, and I enjoyed the bits of humour throughout the movie. If you're an Indiana Jones fan like me, you'll enjoy this movie too.

Review: Avoid this film at all costs! The special effects, the film's only redeeming feature, are sub-par because they are used in a hideously predictable way. A horror film that doesn't scare at all. Actors who are best suited for roles in the adult film industry and a script which was evidently buried in the desert and never found. Who the hell green-lighted this effects-laden dungheap? I've wasted my money on other film like Deep Impact and Conspiracy Theory, but this film was a waste of my time! I could have spent those 125 minutes doing something else. Maximum Overdrive, the Emilio Estevez tour de force, was at least brainless fun. This film is just brainless. Do Hollywood a favor and buy or rent some pornography or Faces of Death instead of this cinematic black hole. Don't give them your money! (I saw this film for free and it still drained me of my valuable time. Don't waste your life, don't buy or rent this film!)

Review: The Mummy is the best movie I have ever seen so far. It is not a Indiana Jones type movie, just because of the costumes. I mean, it's set in 1925, DUH! The narration was excellent. If you like horror,this is not for you. But if you like hardcore action and good comedy,pick this one up! Beni was funny!

Review: This movie reminds me of Raider's of the Lost Ark. An adventurous story with a touch of humor. The special and visual effects are astounding. Brendan Fraser has the perfect charm for this film. I recommend everyone to watch this movie, you will not be disappointed.
